Alright, Parker thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.

We have definitely done our best to flip this industry on it’s head. One of the most influential factors in the decisions we make is that we are working performers, so everything we do comes through the lens of trying to provide what we would want as a performer for our performers. I feel like there is such a different mindset that many larger companies and business owners have where they try to pay as little as possible, do as little delegation as possible, and make as much profit as they can. We PAY as much as we can, often challenging the norms of what is considered the “standard rate”. We make everything as easy on our performers as it can be, as we feel that when a performer is given the tools to succeed, they provide a better product, which makes our clients happier, which means more money and more quality jobs. We try to be creative and shake up the industry when we can.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Personally, I have been a performer my whole life, and have worked professionally in this industry for over a decade. I have travelled the world, been in commercials, sung live, been multiple characters, and have been a music director, videographer, photographer, video editor and music mix engineer. I have worn a lot of hats throughout my life, and I kept running into an issue where many of the companies that I worked for, didn’t treat me, or my fellow performers the way we should be treated. We wouldn’t be payed what we should, weren’t given the tools to succeed, blamed when we wouldn’t succeed, and knocked down at so many turns. I felt like I could create something better and do better by the people that help build and create the company!
So I started PHNX WING Entertainment, one company, with endless entertainment options. From sensational staged shows to engaging elements and atmosphere performances, we strive to create entertainment with quality you can trust. We are ready to be your one stop for live entertainment by providing high production value, and professionalism above all else. From contemporary vocal groups to jazz bands to holiday characters, we are confident that we have, or can produce, a sensational entertainment option that will take your event to the next level!

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

That is such a great question, because I feel like there HAS to be somebody that is helping steer the ship. I want to give a huge shout out to my long-time friend and business partner Alyssa Grant Kenny. We met in college when I showed up late to our first rehearsal for a musical we were in and she volunteered as the person to check in and make sure I would be on time. In my defense they moved from the theater to a “hall” because the theater was under construction! But I digress. It has been a whirlwind of a friendship and as we have been building up this company to where it has. We have faced trials, have dealt with companies that tried to stamp us out, as well as revamped the company as a whole. Together we have risen from the ashes to build something that we are truly proud of.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

There was this thing that happened in 2020… The entertainment industry was hit hard. We consolidated all of our efforts for expansion to just keep what we had afloat. It worked. We still went on to be finalists on The Christmas Caroler Challenge, and booked a global Burger King Commercial that hear.
That consolidation really helped us as we are coming out of the pandemic, as it helped us hold strong to our roots, and only expand to things that we know the client will want.
