We were lucky to catch up with Parisa Moayedi recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Parisa , thanks for joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
To be successful in life, particularly as an entrepreneur, it’s important to recognize that success is a multifaceted concept that is often measured differently by individuals. Success begins with a clear intention and evolves as you grow and learn. Here are four major points to consider:
1. Clarity of Intention: Success starts with a clear and well-defined intention. Ask yourself what you truly want to achieve and why it’s important to you. Having a strong sense of purpose and direction provides the foundation for all your actions and decisions. It’s not about conforming to someone else’s idea of success; it’s about aligning your goals with your own values and desires.
2. Mindset Mastery: Cultivating a growth-oriented mindset is crucial. Success often requires overcoming obstacles, learning from failures, and adapting to change. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks. Develop resilience, positivity, and a willingness to learn from your experiences. Your mindset shapes your actions and ultimately determines your outcomes.
3. Somatic Awareness: Somatic awareness involves understanding and listening to your body’s signals and sensations. It’s about recognizing how your physical and emotional well-being are interconnected. Success isn’t just about achieving external goals; it’s also about feeling fulfilled and balanced internally. Pay attention to your body’s feedback, manage stress, prioritize self-care, and maintain a healthy work-life balance to support your journey to success.
4. Measuring Success on Your Terms: Success is a highly personal concept. It’s not solely defined by financial achievements or societal expectations. Consider what success means to you personally. It could be about having meaningful relationships, making a positive impact, or achieving a sense of inner peace. Define your own metrics for success and regularly evaluate your progress toward those goals.
In summary, success begins with a clear intention, and it’s important to recognize that it’s a dynamic and personal concept. Your journey to success is influenced by your mindset, your ability to adapt, and your commitment to holistic well-being. By aligning your actions with your intentions, maintaining a growth-oriented mindset, staying attuned to your body, and defining success on your own terms, you can create a path to fulfillment and achievement that is uniquely yours.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
After a powerful life changing private session with one of my mentors back in 2017 I had an epiphany. During our call my mentor began demanding I “stop pretending” to hide my gifts and innate natural ability to help people. My mentor encouraged me that it was time I stepped into my purpose as a coach, teaching women how to heal from their past, showing them how to create new paths, reinvent their lives and businesses just as I have.
Mentally, I was not ready or even felt fully worthy to become a coach and start my own business.
Physically, I was exhausted from the ‘corporate world’ and where I was geographically did not quite feel right
Spiritually, I knew God had bigger plans for me so I needed to trust the process and all the lows and highs of taking a leap of faith – and all the tests that came along with it!
These thoughts brought me at a major crossroads and I had some huge decisions to make – and they needed to be made fast as time was ticking and I intuitively knew my timeline depended on it.
I went back and forth putting up reasons and blocks on why I could not and was not qualified… I said, “Who am I to be in such a position” which my mentor responded and said, “You are exactly that in which you need to be to help others based upon your own life experiences and wisdom, stop pretending you don’t know this”. I recall her being incredibly frustrated with my inability to see my worth – she saw my value and potential and was not giving up.
After our session I finally began to look at my life from raw angles and I had to ask myself, “Is this really me? Is this who I am and what defines me?”. At the time I was living comfortably working a corporate job and living a surface level social life with no true substance or depth. I wanted a change desperately, yet I was terrified of the unknown… The moment I surrendered to the idea of the unknown being a place of possibility and expansion I began to see the vision of a more authentic lifestyle that aligned with my true calling and purpose. Almost immediately the chips began to fall into place in the most divine ways. The result of the private session opened up a complete life shift and it was the catalyst for everything after that.
I launched my business in 2018 on 7/7 and simultaneously resigned from my role as a Graphic Designer and Brand Strategist in real estate. One of the most liberating, empowering and terrifying moves I have ever made! It became quite the adventure as I moved back to California about 6 months later and began to immerse myself in learning more about business, coaching and cultivating relationships that made a huge impact on my business in so many ways.
Current day, I am established with my business and brand – DIVINE CHAPTERS LLC. This is a very special and sacred name as I see and honor the “DIVINE CHAPTER” in each (soul) person that I meet with compassion and understanding. Knowing that whether in life or business, we are in a divine chapter in our lives that is serving our highest good and creating our present and future experience.
My passion and dedication for what I do as a Transformational Life Coach comes from going through many difficult experiences that led me seeking out healers, teachers and even being mentored by a Buddhist Monk when I was only 14 years old! I have survived and conquered many personal life challenges that brought upon immense guilt and shame – I knew that I wanted to help other women based upon how liberating it was to finally set myself free of these blocks once I learned how to work through them. It is imperative now more than ever to share these skills of mindfulness as well as somatic healing techniques to help ground and open up the highest potential of healing to occur for the individual. I whole heartedly believe that each one of us has the ability and capacity to step into their purpose by learning how to heal themselves – my job is to facilitate the space and share my exclusive EMPOWER Method as a resource and teaching tool to create that change and elevation.
I have been named and recognized as, “The Teacher of Destiny” as I help people find their true destiny or shall I say destinies. One has multiple purposes in life – not just one. I am honored to help uncover and discover all the possibilities and create absolute clarity on what you are meant to do here in this lifetime while identifying the patterns in your life that have held you back. Intuition is also something that I help people develop – teaching you how to trust your instincts, intuition and move past your fears by identifying the differences. Everyone is intuitive – some are naturally more intuitive than others, however the key is to know that learning how to trust yourself and listening to your body is essential in the process! This is the air I breathe! It is such an honor to witness each step of the healing process.
I am certified as a Trauma Informed Embodied Breathwork Facilitator as well as certified in Yoga and I specialize in Meditation as well. I bring in all these methods and include them in my one-on-one private sessions as well as workshops. My workshops are open to all and my private sessions are for women only. Private sessions start at 90 minute single sessions, then I have a 4 month and 6 month coaching program that includes meeting once a week along with a monthly lesson plan and check-ins. My clients are like family to me and I make sure they know that from the beginning. I have been where they have been and at times in my current life going through similar experiences – one thing I always let people know is that just because I am a teacher / coach does not mean I am exempt from the lessons – I am a student first and always learning. May we all walk and rise together – and where someone needs a helping hand, may the person next to her guide the way. This is my belief. This is my purpose. Here to show you how to heal: Body, Mind and Soul.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
AUTHENTICITY plays a HUGE part in everything you do, say and thus CREATE!
Building a reputation is all energy, intention and authenticity. Appearing as “perfect” in all ways and speaking like a robot sets my B.S. meter off and it’s a huge turn off. It is pretty simple – keep it REAL and keep it MOVING! That is my motto and that is what has given me peace in showing up and feeling confident. I believe that INTENTION is equally as important and vital regarding building your reputation and shines through and surfaces whether it is good or bad – so that is definitely something to keep in mind.
People are very keen on reading energy and most of the time it is done subconsciously. It is done naturally – energy is felt through one another because we are all made of energy. The moment you walk into a room your energy has introduced you before you even say a word.
These are invaluable keys to know and I in no way shape or form showed up with all three perfected from the beginning. I battled with feelings of imposter syndrome and not showing up at times in my full power, I had to learn how to clear my energy field and really be mindful of my boundaries, honing in on what I really wanted to manifest and create. I believe that by showing up as authentic and with the self-awareness for my actions as well as others I have built a strong reputation of trust and respect.
We are leaders because we have done the work and continue to do the work – leading with integrity and heart. And without all of these elements a strong reputation and brand may not sustain. Be true to yourself and why you started.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
A fun fact about me is that I do not watch tv of any kind, not at all. It used to be my thing and I watched way too much as a child, but I outgrew that once I began to realize how much it was impacting my daily life and filling my time with mostly nonsense information that had no value or positive impact – and what we entertain will become entertainment – embodied in ALL that we do, think and create.
I love reading and visiting bookstores and browsing through the ailes looking for the one book that is speaking to me to read! My go-to books are always non-fiction and philosophical, personal development related and geographical picture books are also incredible! Something about the high quality photo book with a description that takes you right to the destination is truly special.
When I was beginning my healing spiritual journey over decade ago I came across a book by, Dr. Wayne Dyer called, “Wishes Fulfilled” the focus is on The Art of Manifesting and it truly changed my life in more ways that I can even begin to tell you! It generated something within me to make positive aligned actions and connections towards my goals. I realized that Dr. Dyer was not only sharing his wisdom and experiences, but he was just like everyone else – he just had the keys of super in depth self awareness and he was sharing it all! Gold! I highly recommend it!
