Paola, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Was there an experience or lesson you learned at a previous job that’s benefited your career afterwards?
In my previous job, I worked in sales and that experience taught me a valuable lesson about what it takes to succeed. I learned that consistency is key, you have to show up every day ready to give your best. I also realized how essential it is to be genuinely kind and attentive to customers, because building trust makes all the difference. Most importantly, I understood that having a deep knowledge of the product you’re offering not only gives you confidence, but also helps the customer feel secure in their decision. That combination consistency, kindness, and expertise has stayed with me throughout my career.

Paola, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Paola Nunez, and I’m a real estate agent based in Buffalo, New York. I was born and raised in Peru, and in 2016 I moved to the United States with my family. Starting a new life in a different country taught me how important it is to have someone you can trust to guide you—especially when navigating unfamiliar systems, markets, and cultures. That experience inspired me to help others make these big transitions with clarity and confidence.
Today, I help clients buy and sell properties in Western New York and in other states across the country. I also work with investors seeking the right opportunities in different markets. My role isn’t just about contracts and closings—it’s about building trust, educating my clients, and making sure they feel fully supported from start to finish.
Being fluent in both English and Spanish allows me to bridge language and cultural gaps, particularly for clients in the Hispanic community. I understand the challenges they face and work hard to ensure they feel informed, empowered, and respected throughout the process.
One of my proudest achievements is the network of relationships I’ve built—many clients come to me through referrals, which I see as the greatest compliment. At the heart of my work is a simple promise: integrity, dedication, and genuine care. That’s what I bring to every client, every transaction, every time.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I studied for my real estate license while pregnant and raising my young daughter as a stay-at-home mom. Most nights, I studied after she was asleep, exhausted but determined. It wasn’t easy, but that season taught me that resilience means showing up for your dreams even when life feels overwhelming.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy I’ve found for growing my clientele has been social media. It allows me to connect directly with people, share valuable information, and showcase my expertise in real estate in a way that feels personal and approachable. By consistently posting tips, market updates, and success stories, I’ve been able to build trust, reach new clients, and maintain relationships with past clients—all while creating a community that feels engaged and supported.
