We recently connected with Pancho Rucker and have shared our conversation below.

Pancho, appreciate you joining us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?

Overall, I am happy as a business owner. It is never a dull moment. Does it have its peaks and valleys? Absolutely, however, I wouldn’t trade this for the world. I can literally turn a thought into a tangible good every day. I am a magician of sorts if you think about it. Any entrepreneur will tell you that they think about returning to a “regular” job sometimes, but if you are one of the dedicated ones you snap out of it, put your head down, and get back to work.

Pancho, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am a jack of many trades. I am an Amazon Best Selling author/illustrator, the owner of CBD/Delta 8 candy company BumbleBars LLC, owner of multimedia company Double Bee Studios, founder of the non-profit Team Rehab, graphic designer, PBS featured cartoonist, producer, and narrator, consultant, stroke survivor, and father.

What makes me the proudest about that is I get to create things from nothing into real items and help people in ways like realizing their dreams to a goal that they have been trying to accomplish.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Staying consistent, authentic to self, and resilient even when it doesn’t look like things will work out. People will catch on eventually. Just keep swimming.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

Unlearn all the doubts and negativity in your life that were taught to you growing up. People will try to project their beliefs and fears on you but I am living proof that, if you put the work in, you can be anything that you put your mind to in spite of naysayers. There are over 7 billion people on this earth. With the internet, you can reach a lot of them.
