We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Pamm La’Vazquez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Pamm thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So, folks often look at a successful business and think it became a success overnight – but that often obscures all the nitty, gritty details of everything that went into the growth phase of your business. We’d love to hear about your scaling story and how you scaled up?
Everything started with an idea, with a dream, with the idea of doing something more from just normal life.
I started learning and working about the music industry when i was about 14 years old, i was a roadie in different events, assistant and production worker.
Thru years while i was still learning on how to play music i started going to auditions in many places with the hope of getting positive answers, if the answer was negative i was getting keywords or important details all bookings mentioned.
Updating myself, learning new techniques, going to different events, applying marketing and many strategies provided me the security in myself and the right tools to be prepared for all scenarios.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a Music/Language Teacher. and I started more than 20 years ago. Lets say i was a member of different bands thru the years and everything was okay, but not perfect. I knew something was missing.
Back in 2018 I decided to create my own project from zero, from nothing, just with an idea and drummer available. We decided to add style, compositions, stories and plenty of magic. Being responsible and having a discipline were 2 words that i was going to follow in order to make things work.
I wanted to be an example for plenty of female musicians out there and also being an example as a mother.
Women sacrifice many things at the moment of becoming a mom, so here i was, with 2 lifes, a caring mom most of the day and a musician at night, i followed the phrase “be whoever you want to be” .
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes, to make a great impact in peoples lives.
Not fame just to know that my music or what i do connects with people and it works as a good influence for their personal situations.
The sound of having the crowds singing your songs, saying the best comments about what you do its a sign that things are going way better from expected.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Between dealing with many obstacles during all this time and people with lack of discipline, my daughter has always been my main motivation.
A couple of years ago i received some bad news about my health, i needed to act very fast or else, I was going to die.
Certainly the type of news nobody wants to hear, being so focused on fixing issues and band situations caused by others, distracted me from what it was really important…My health!!. I was not going to leave my daughter alone in this world that is for sure so i decided to take care of this matter and enjoy things more. Everything changed after that but thankfully I’m still here. I enjoy things more and live more because you never know…
My advise is to live more, leave technology for another time, smell flowers, trees, go to the park, to the beach, just get more sun, enjoy the moon. It might sound weird but i can confirm nature is the best therapy.
