Pamela, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so we’d love to hear about how you got your first client or customer. What’s the story?
Every great brand has a first believer — the one who sees potential before the world catches on. For Myles Select Ultra Premium Vodka, that believer was Highway 138 Package Store in Stockbridge, Georgia.
Long before the first bottle ever reached their shelves, we spent countless hours walking the aisles of that store, studying the bottles — their shapes, labels, and how they commanded attention on display. We envisioned where our bottle would stand one day.
When that day finally came, Highway 138 Package Store became our very first customer. As one of the largest and most respected stores in the area, their decision to take a chance on a locally owned brand meant everything. It was more than a sale — it was a statement of belief, partnership, and community pride.
Today, our relationship with the owners remains as strong as ever. They continue to support Myles Select Vodka and every new brand we introduce through Red Oaks Distribution, standing as a reminder that true partnerships go beyond business — they’re built on trust, shared vision, and mutual growth.

Myles Select Ultra Premium Vodka was born from a vision of excellence, perseverance, and representation. Founded by Pamela Myles, a trailblazer in both business and community, the brand stands as a symbol of refinement, resilience, and purpose.
What began as a dream to craft a smoother, purer vodka evolved into a movement — one that celebrates the strength of entrepreneurship, the art of distillation, and the spirit of community. When early challenges arose, including a pivotal distributor cancellation, Pamela transformed adversity into opportunity by launching Red Oaks Distribution, making her the only Black female distributor of her own vodka brand in the state of Georgia.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
One of the most transformative experiences in strengthening my business was participating in the ACE Runway Cohort in Georgia. The program provided invaluable exposure to leaders across every area essential to business success — from legal and tax experts to marketing professionals, insurance advisors, and strategic coaches.
The connections and insights I gained during that experience remain unforgettable. I continue to apply those lessons daily in managing and growing my company. The ACE Runway Cohort not only expanded my knowledge but also reinforced my confidence as a business leader.
I strongly encourage other entrepreneurs to seek out cohort-based programs that offer this level of education and support — they are powerful catalysts for growth, clarity, and sustainable success.


Any fun sales or marketing stories?
Myles Select Vodka made its debut on store shelves in January 2017, marking the beginning of an incredible journey. From the start, we knew we wanted to introduce the brand in a way that reflected its energy, sophistication, boldness, and our love of music — so we launched with two unforgettable back-to-back events at Lakewood Amphitheater.
As sponsors of the Kiss 104.1 Flashback Festival and 107.9 Streetz Fest 2017, we brought the spirit of Myles Select Vodka to life with activations across Georgia. From branded experiences to hands-on engagement, we worked tirelessly to introduce our brand to new audiences and celebrate the artistry behind it.
It was an exhilarating time filled with passion, long days, and powerful lessons — both good and bad — that shaped how we approach marketing, partnerships, and growth today. Most importantly, it reminded us that every great brand begins with courage, creativity, and a commitment to show up boldly.
