Pamela, appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My mission/Goal is to enhance my sons (MacFour) an R&B entertainment group’s career to the top level. In the beginning my sons express that they would love to be entertainers, so we began their journey by taking them to see Broadway shows and having sing-alongs in the car.
Pamela, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m 52 year old married woman with 4 sons. We signed our boys up for local talent shows in the DMV area, which lead to auditions at at The Historical Apollo theater and America’s Got Talent to build their skills and confidence. Then we started to record their rehearsals and post them online. We would have them practice everyday singing and dancing different songs and acting. I am most proud of their drive, determination, and creativity for the last 12 years and counting. We are striving to incorporate a new generation of music and entertainment while adding a old school flavor to it with respect.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
After doing a lot of talent shows in the DMV area without support we saw that Georgia was providing a better place to showcase their talent and interest. So after a family discussion we packed up and moved to Georgia. Being here posed some obstacles including being homeless, their determination to be the best shined through.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
We started posting videos on YouTube as soon as possible and collecting followers on each social media platform like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tiktok. Eventually we allowed the 4 members to have their own social media profiles so they can have and interact with their own fans.
