We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Pamela Kinsey. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Pamela below.
Hi Pamela, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear the story behind how you got your first job in field that you currently practice in.
On February 3, 1986 I started my first day working for a national laboratory as a finance clerk. I began working there as a high school senior and in that summer after graduation I left for college. I attended Washington State University and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration while continuing to work. In the beginning I was just a young high school student so my purpose was just to go to work, be there on time, earn my paycheck and buy the things I wanted or needed in college. I didn’t have any specific career aspirations, didn’t have a mentor or someone to guide me my professional career until many years later. I am very happy I later found a wonderful mentor and that person changed everything in my career and as I matured into a solid professional I took many risk and opportunities to continue growing and I’m a successful certified Project Management Professional and Team Leader….soon to be an author of my first published book next month and a Project Management consultant/coach in 2026.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a mother, grandmother, author, mentor, public speaker and community leader. I have a nonprofit that focuses on women, men, youth, and families. Our desire is to equip, encourage and empower women, men, youth and families who have struggled emotionally, physically, relationally, financially or spiritually. This foundation will bring about wholeness in their lives where they experience freedom and can walk in wholeness with NO MORE HOLES. You are destined to be The Whole Woman, The Whole Man, The Whole YOUth, and The Whole Family. We create spaces for annual conferences; The Whole Woman and The Whole Man.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I went through a devastating loss in 2011 and then during COVID I lost a total of 10 and was truly lost. I held on to my faith and launched my nonprofit in the middle of the pandemic and found why out of the hole of depression to now walking in a greater level of freedom. I didn’t believe a quitter was inside of me but rather a winner. I fought back through equipping and empowering others.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I am in the process of a pivot right now and expect to launch my business as a Project Management Consultant and Coach.
