We recently connected with Pam Hund and have shared our conversation below.
Pam, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry
We are seeing more and more couples take the time to curate their wedding as a unique experience, focusing on small details and creating specific moments that are aesthetic and unforgettable. For example, vintage furniture rentals are a big trend now; think antique velvet sofas and oversized peacock chairs. These are items people love to “like” on Instagram but don’t have in their own homes. So when couples create these one-of-a-kind setups, it also creates an experience within an experience.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am Pam Hund; my husband Jake and I live on a 10-acre tropical tree farm in Vero Beach, Florida. After going through the planning process for our wedding in 2018 in Tulum, Mexico, we thought, “we should create a venue at the tree farm.” After two years of planning & designing the venue & going through the appropriate building permits & licensing, we finally got the building permit in March 2020 and began construction! Tree House was finished on November 7th, 2020.
Tree House Vero Beach is an event venue that welcomes uniqueness, individuality, & fresh ideas. We make planning easy with unique rentals, including furniture, table numbers, disco balls, and more. We are most proud of the relationships we create with our clients. We make ourselves available for our clients as much as they need through the planning process because we know how stressful the lead-up and the day of can be, and we want their experience to be as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
At Tree House Vero Beach, we believe in community above all else. It’s important for us to utilize our social media to shine a light on the amazing vendors and partners we work with to make each event special. Like everything else, social media is constantly evolving, so we do our best to adapt. The best advice we can give to those just starting is to take the leap and try new things. Trying is the best way to learn — you can always delete the post later if you don’t like it! And don’t forget to make the effort to engage with your community.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Being in an intimate industry, word of mouth from happy clients and amazing partners has been the best source of new clients. Our goal with every event is not only to make our clients dreams come true, but also to help their guests picture what their future event could be. Building strong relationships with our vendors is equally as important to us as building relationships with clients, as we recommend photographers, caterers, florist, etc. we can only hope they are recommending us as well.
