My entrepreneurial journey owes everything to the unwavering support of my parents. Starting a business at such a young age posed many challenges, such as little to none startup funds, workspace, and foundational knowledge in business operations. Yet, my parents were there for me every step of the way! My parents are the reason I was able to get this business off the ground. They helped me buy my very first pack of the beads, gave me a space in their house for me to grow my business, and even helped spread the word about my business to all of their friends who became some of my first customers! I wouldn’t have ever been able to follow this dream without them, and I’ll never be able to thank them enough for the support they’ve given me.

Our journey has been expanded with numerous pop-up events throughout the Kansas City area, where we’ve delighted patrons with tailored experiences such as custom ring crafting, charm bracelet stations, and even wine charm creation tables! Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Establishing a presence on social media proved to be one of the most challenging aspects of launching my business, especially in the initial stages. In the beginning, gaining followers relies heavily on word of mouth, but once you surpass the circle of family and friends, content becomes crucial. While maintaining a consistent posting schedule of 1-2 times a day may seem tedious, it’s crucial for long-term growth. I highly recommend making a social media content calendar. This tool helps map out your posts and captions for each day of the month, making it easier to maintain consistency and track the type and frequency of your content!

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that not every creation is destined to be a bestseller. Each client brings their own vision and preferences to the table. While something may seem amazing to me, it’s essential to recognize that customers may have different perspectives. Embracing this reality fuels our growth as creators, pushing us to adapt to meet diverse tastes and preferences, ultimately leading us to having products people will love!
