We recently connected with Paige Danner and have shared our conversation below.
Paige, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I first knew I wanted to be a singer / performer from the age of 13. I dreamed about it all the time and sang whenever possible.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a country music artist from West Glacier Montana. For as long as I can remember singing and performing have been my first love. Vocally, I feel my voice is very strong and clear. I think that makes me stand out. I have also modeled internationally in Germany, Austria and Milan, Italy. I’m proud that I’ve never given up on my dreams and I continue to pursue them.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
In Montana, as a teenager, I worked three jobs in high school so that I could move to Nashville to pursue my singing career. Unfortunately, my car broke down and I got in a fight with my mom and moved out of my parents home early. This cost me a lot of money especially my car. I wound up with only $500.00 left. I decided I would still leave as I prided myself in always doing what I say. I rerouted to Phoenix. I figured if I ran out of money I could sleep in my car. Fortunately, I got a place to live the day after I arrived and a job nearby in case I ran out of gas. It was a struggle to make ends meet and I lived off of 3 day old pies I got from the restaurant job I had gotten. I believe hard times have made me more resilient. Since then I have been to Nashville and decided the weather suits me better in Arizona.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding part of being an artist is performing. I really enjoy entertaining people.
