We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Paige Beitler. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Paige below.
Paige , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the decision of whether to donate a percentage of sales to an organization or cause – we’d love to hear the backstory of how you thought through this.
One of our values is giving back, so we have launched Fundraising with Fame Parties!
What would it look like for your school/company to host THE fundraiser of the year?!
As we all know, Most fundraisers involve selling items that people are guilted into buying.
With a Fame Fundraiser, Your families will experience a fun, easy and quick photo session, and the photos will be a part of your school and each family’s history for a lifetime. This is NOT the normal stuffy school photo, this is a real life, genuine photo session of your child at their happiest.
We have 2 options for Schools:
1. School hosts a Fame Party onsite on a select weekend. For Each family who purchases a Fame package, we will donate 20% of the total proceeds.
2. A FUN Twist on School photos! Each student, and their siblings, will be photographed with and without confetti. Their parents have the opportunity to purchase as many images as their heart desires, and a percentage will be given back to your school. Parents want great photos, we WANT to help you fundraise!
Companies/Teams/Professional Fundraising!
Let Fame Parties Photography help you coordinate a Fundraising event. We create a signup form for your families/team members, set up a studio at your office/meet at a park, & help create fun memories through our Famous photos!
Your office could host Fame Parties as a Fundraiser– Families would sign up, pay for their Fame Photo session, and 20% of the proceeds would be donated to your charity/organization of choice!

Paige , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
As the owner (& Chief Fun Officer) of Fame Parties Photography, I am a leading a group of amazing women photographers. We have all had 5+years experience each photographing families all over the state of Texas.
I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in Photography, where I found my calling creating and capturing life’s moments. While in college, I was a studio manager/photographer for Classic Kids, which was a luxury black/white film photography studio. I knew working with children would be something I do, for the rest of my life.
I purchased Fame Parties late August of 2021, and quickly got to work on enhancing this already well established business. We have photographers in and around Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.
Our photographers are all mothers and understand the obstacles of children and husbands during photoshoots. I am very proud to be leading them in their photography careers, while allowing them to be stay at home moms and earn an income doing what they LOVE!
When I am not behind a camera or leading Fame, you can find me with our son Jack, our 2 dogs, Piper and Archer or planning new travel experiences! (That’s how I became the Chief Fun Officer!)

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
A pivotal resource that all businesses need is CRM.
I was in the mindset that I needed to find a CRM that was photography based to best help my clients. I looked for 2 years trying to find something that worked, each one I found I had to make sacrifices. Options worked for 80% but fell short on a pain point for clients. Searching on google was not going to cut it. I reached out to other photography businesses across the US to see what programs they were using. I finally came across a program that works 90% and will create the last 10% of what I need. Lean on your resources and ask questions!!

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
I have learned this myself, being a creative and then owning a business with team members. I crave being behind the camera to photograph clients. At times it is hard to work on the business because I feel less fulfilled than being behind the camera. As a creative; fulfillment is creating–as a non-creative; fulfillment to see the business reaching goals.
