Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to PAIGE. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, PAIGE thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I’ve known I wanted to be an Artist ever since I can remember. Throughout my life I’ve been most excited when receiving musical gifts such as a karaoke machine when I was 5, and a guitar when I was about 16. When I was a child I used to create sing and dance routines with my friends and perform them for my family. After grade school I decided to go to a University for Health Education but music was always in the back of my mind. After I was in a terrible accident during my senior year at the University of Cincinnati I decided to start a career in music.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
After I was in an accident in 2018 I started posting videos of myself doing covers of popular r&b, pop, and rap songs. I went to a lot of open mic nights all around the city Cincinnati and sung those songs. I dropped my first single in 2020. Since then I’ve traveled all across the United States performing my album “Hottie Red”, which is primarily rap and pop. On top of that I’ve released a rap song “Costa Rica”, r&b ep “Sweetheart”, and pop songs “Fearless” and “Wait For It”. I’ve been in various performance competitions and have won in Cincinnati and outside Ohio. I won second place in Jazze Pha’s Who’s Next Dallas earning recognition from one of the worlds biggest DJ’s for my exceptional talent and artistry. I performed at Birthday Bash ATL Auditions where I left an unforgettable performance. I’ve been interviewed on The Progress Report ATL. This year I toured with DJ Calvin, most known with Russ collaboration, in Texas and California. At the end of this year I was featured on Pac Man Jone’s EP on the song “Schmell Me” where I’m rapping. Right now I’m working on several songs and a project and ‘m continuing to do events in Cincinnati too. This past week, on December 7, 2023, I was live on Fox 19 Now for a 5-minute segment on a book I co-authored. My mom and I wrote the book about my accident back in 2018 and it’s called “She Looks Fine”. I see a bright future for myself and I can tell you I’m very excited. My music inspires and motivates people to do better. I can say the one thing you’re always going to get from me performing live is an experience you’ll never forget. What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I feel most like myself doing this “tehe”. Truly, I judge myself the absolute least when I’m on stage performing. It’s the time I’m being 100% me.
