We were lucky to catch up with Pablo Alejandro recently and have shared our conversation below.
Pablo, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?
In my personal opinion there is no magic formula that teaches you how to be successful in life, and that can be applied in all scenarios. Success, like many other aspects of life, ends up being a matter of perspective where everyone has their own definition.
For some people, success may depend on how many zeros their bank. Beyond all possible definitions, there is something clear and that is that we all seek to become better every day, and that is where our definition of how to be successful lies:
Success is not a result, it is a process that we develop every day and that in the end, will have its reward.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Pablo Alejandro “El Caballero de la Bachata” I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. I remember that when I migrated to Miami, Florida my first job was selling flowers. I always liked music, so in 1990 I was part of a Merengue Musical Band as a second vocalist and Choreographer.
In 2004 I became a soloist Bachata Singer and launched my fist musical album called “Cruzando Fronteras” and also became the Pioneer of Bachata Tango.
I had traveled touring through Europe, Soth America, USA, released many singles and currently working on my 4th Album.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
As we all know the Pandemic had affected all of us. On my personal case it affected me in many different ways like not been able to go on tours, feel the love of the fans around the world, give interviews in person, and many other things.
But I was able to stay strong and overcome all obstacles, and here I am again doing what my hearts tell me, my passion, being present on a stage.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I have many goals that I still have to achieve on my career as an Artist, one of them is to win a Grammy., and I know God will come through for me and will make my dream come thru.
