Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Oussama Tkito. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Oussama, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I knew I wanted to pursue a creative path professionally when I was 17. That year, my remix of Martin Garrix & Troye Sivan “There for you” was featured in Billboard.com in 2017 with my old Alias “BigNSmall”together with Zak, and it really solidified my decision. Seeing my work recognized on such a big platform like Proximity confirmed that music was more than just a passion for me—it was something I wanted to dedicate my career to. Now at 26, I’m fully committed to pushing my sound forward with major releases on Selected., Groove Bassmenet, Chapter Eight and more…

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Well, I’m a music producer and DJ with a passion for house music, and my journey into this industry began in Morocco. In 2024, a song I created called “Saturate” in collaboration Kamil Ghaouti and Alimish was signed by one of the biggest deep house labels “Selected.”. That recognition not only validated my work but also sparked the realization that the world is listening.
I’m proud of the growth I’ve achieved as an artist so far both creatively and professionally with +2 Million streams in 2024 so far. My mission is to consistently deliver quality music and memorable live performances. Whether I’m producing or performing at an event, I aim to create a lasting impact and keep pushing boundaries in the house music scene.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The driving force behind my creative journey is to unite people through music and leave a lasting imprint on the world. I believe that music has the power to bring people together, regardless of their backgrounds, and create shared experiences that resonate on a deep level. My goal is to contribute to that universal connection and ensure that the music I create not only captures a moment but also leaves a legacy that stands the test of time.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One story that highlights my resilience is when I moved to the U.S. from Morocco to pursue my dream of becoming a successful music producer. Transitioning to a new country came with its own set of challenges, adjusting to a different culture, building new networks, and navigating the industry from the ground up. Despite these obstacles, I remained focused on my goal, using every challenge as fuel to keep pushing forward. It wasn’t an easy path, but the experience taught me the importance of persistence, adaptability, and staying committed to my vision. Today, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for the resilience that has kept me moving forward.
