We were lucky to catch up with Osmundo Thompson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Osmundo, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
I’m currently working on an in-depth, historical documentary concerning the Roman calendars and its changes. More specifically, when it changed; who was responsible for the change(s); and how it affects us today. This project is a product of years of extensive research and study.
I need to film various archaeological and historical artifacts in Egypt, England, Israel, and Italy, as well as interview qualified professionals to assist in telling the story, thus bringing this project to life.
This documentary is unique and groundbreaking. It will challenge time as we know it. It will bring clarity to historical dates, events, and timelines given in the Bible.
This project is meaningful to me, not only because God has revealed and entrusted me to teach His original time clock, but because I also personally observed and lived by His calendric system for about 20 years and can see clarification of time changes now are needed.

Osmundo, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a medically retired Gulf War Veteran. After serving in the Army, I went to school for Recording Engineering. From there, I’ve interned and worked as an Audio and Recording Engineer in recording studios, churches, and live concerts. I’ve also made music since my late teens. Music has always been a part of who I am.
However, later in life, there was a shift in what grabbed my attention. There was a shift in my passion. I placed music on the back burner, as my love for teaching God’s Word grew. My gift for teaching and breaking down Scriptures that were difficult to understand became evident to all those who knew me or met me in passing. My ability to investigate, study, understand, and teach Scripture was undeniable.
This desire and thirst for researching and studying the Bible further evolved into my desire to take my teachings to another level: to create documentaries. It cannot be refuted that the Bible is just as much a historical book as it is a spiritual one.
I wasn’t much of a studier in my formative years, because music was my first love; however, the hunger to learn history, especially Biblical history, grew.
As my passion for studying and teaching grew, a new desire began to emerge, more so in a complimentary fashion with all things Bible — filmmaking, bringing all my experiences, training, and desires into one intersection.
I’m currently working on my first docuseries, The Calendar Story – Understanding Heaven’s Time Clock. This film has been about eight years in the making, including research. I’m proud of this work, as it’s the only one of its kind, and it will impact the lives of millions.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My mission and goal is to properly teach God’s Word with simplicity and understanding, not offering opinionated doctrine or tradition, but with facts. By doing so in the form of documentaries, it provides a platform to present substantiated proof via historical documentation and archaeological findings.

Have you ever had to pivot?
As far as I can remember, my life and love was music. However, after God called me to teach His Word, my love began to shift around 2015. The best way to describe it: He gave me a new heart, a heart to teach and impact the lives of others. As a result, my ministry was born.
