Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Oscar Amuz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Oscar , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a time you helped a customer really get an amazing result through their work with you.
Once upon a time there was a group of children with autism who discovered in football a way to express themselves, connect with others and overcome their own limits. These children, initially faced with challenges in their daily lives, found a way of escape and personal growth in sport.
At first, many of them felt insecure and had difficulty integrating into a conventional soccer team. However, with the support of specialized coaches and an understanding and empathetic environment, they began to discover their abilities and develop their self-confidence.
As they practiced and played together, these children with autism not only improved their soccer skills, but also strengthened their self-esteem, their ability to work as a team, and their ability to communicate effectively. Football became a powerful tool to improve their quality of life, giving them a sense of achievement and belonging that was previously elusive.
Additionally, sport provided them with a structured routine and a safe space where they could express themselves freely, without fear of judgment from others. Through football, they learned to manage their emotions, follow instructions and work as a team, fundamental skills that helped them function better in their daily lives.
Over time, these children with autism became an example of improvement and resilience, demonstrating that, with the right support and the opportunity to participate in inclusive activities such as football, they can reach their full potential and enjoy a full and satisfying life. .
Thus, the story of these children with autism playing soccer teaches us that sport is not only a form of entertainment, but also a powerful tool for inclusion, improvement and personal growth that can transform lives and improve the quality of life of those who practice it. . Autism Soccer

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
“Hello everyone! I am Oscar Amuz, founder and CEO of Autism Soccer, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of children and young people with autism through soccer. 12 years ago, inspired by my passion for soccer and my desire to make a positive difference in the community, I decided to create Autism Soccer with the goal of providing inclusive sports and recreational opportunities for this group of people.
At Autism Soccer, we offer a variety of soccer training programs adapted to the individual needs of each participant, as well as recreational and educational activities that promote the comprehensive development of children and young people with autism. Our focus is on enhancing the sporting, social and emotional skills of our participants, providing them with a safe and welcoming space where they can grow and thrive.
What sets us apart at Autism Soccer is our long-term commitment to the autism community, as well as our passion for creating a positive and lasting impact in the lives of our participants and their families. I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved in these 12 years, and to see how football has been a powerful tool to improve the quality of life of child artists with autism.
I want our children, followers and potential fans to know that at Autism Soccer we not only offer sports programs, but we are also a family that supports each other and works together to build a more inclusive and equitable world. Our commitment to excellence, empathy and diversity drives us to continue growing and expanding our impact in the community. Currently our organization has seeds in 18 countries, we are also organizing Autism Soccer World Cup Brazil 2025 and much, much more. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey with us!”

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
“On the path of Autism Soccer, we have faced numerous challenges and obstacles, including financial difficulties and lack of community support. There were times when we found ourselves in difficult situations, on the verge of despair, but we never lost sight of our mission to work with 1 million autistic children and improve their lives through sport.
Despite adversity, we maintained our determination and focus on our ultimate goal. We firmly believed in the transformative power of sport to positively impact the lives of children with autism, and we were willing to fight tirelessly for it.
Today, I am excited to say that I am about to achieve my dream. Despite difficult times and adverse circumstances, we never gave up on our vision and continued to work hard to make it a reality. For me, there is nothing more important than living in your dreams, working with passion and fighting for what you really want.
This achievement is not only a milestone for me as the founder of Autism Soccer, but also for the entire team and community that supports us. It drives us to move forward, to continue growing and to continue positively impacting the lives of autistic children through sport.
This story is a reminder that, with determination, perseverance, and faith in our dreams, we can overcome any challenge and achieve our most ambitious goals. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey and believed in our vision of a more inclusive and equitable world for all!”

Twelve years ago, Oscar Amuz decided to embark on a journey. A path full of challenges, but also of hope and determination. His goal was clear: change the way the world views children with autism. And today, on the verge of conquering the world, he is just a few months away from announcing something that will mark a milestone in history.
In 2025, in Brazil, the first World Cup for children with autism will be held. For Oscar and his team, this is not just a sports competition, it is much more than that. It is an opportunity to show the world that children with autism have the same capacity as any other child. That autism is not a disease, but a condition that does not define a person.
Excitement and anticipation grow as the big event approaches. Oscar knows that this World Cup will be much more than a soccer tournament. It will be a platform to change perceptions, to promote inclusion and acceptance. It will be an opportunity to show the world the beauty and talent that exists in every child with autism.
And as he reflects on the last twelve years of hard work and dedication, Oscar feels a deep sense of pride. Because he has witnessed the transformation, how little by little society’s view of children with autism has been changed. And he knows this is just the beginning.
With the determination and passion that characterize him, Oscar is preparing to announce to the world the arrival of the World Cup for children with autism. He is ready to show that together, we can build a more inclusive world, where every child, regardless of their differences, has the opportunity to shine.
And so, with hope in his heart and conviction in his mind, Oscar Amuz prepares to make history and change the world, one child with autism at a time.
