Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ornell Williams. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Ornell, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
The story behind my mission is that I was living in Washington DC my whole life until I decided to take a leap of faith and take my talents to Atlanta, Georgia. Back home in Washington DC. I had a 9 to 5 working for the white man. I barely had time for myself or my kids. My goal was to save a few thousand dollars and moved to Atlanta. But year after year, I was not able to meet my goal.
So one day I took the $500 I had left in my pocket and move to Atlanta. It was a little bit of a rough start trying to get some type of money doing Videographer photography and really re-branding and finding myself. At the time I didn’t have any family or friends in Atlanta, so it was basically just me. Once I got connected with a few dope people, everything has been uphill ever since.
My second year living in Atlanta I got my LLC, and I was able to make over $50,000 by myself being a official business owner. I have now worked with countless celebrities, influencers, politic events, contractors, Been in a movie, & had countless cameos on LAHH ETC. With my music I have been able to perform in crowds over 500 people and been able to pursue both of my dreams.
When I was little before, my grandmother passed away her goal & mission was to help, Mentor, and care for children as much as she could. To honor her I would love to create a boys and girls club named after her that we give kids a second place to call home where they can be themselves, learn, and get mentorship.

Ornell, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Growing up, I always gravitated towards dancing, music, & recording things ,like family functions, dance videos, and funny stuff , ETC. Around 2015 or 2016 I decided to reach out to a child hood friend of mine Miguel for advice on how to professionally use a camera. Once he saw how serious I was with wanting to learn, he instantly became a mentor and even let me use his $5000 camera to start doing my own gigs.
Then he ended up getting his own studio and creating a Camera team which he further expand my knowledge with shooting in a studio. He also taught me how to properly use studio lighting, angles, how to properly incorporate LED bi-color lights within my photos ETC.
After I got my own clients and started making some decent money, I fell in love with the camera even more. Then one day, I finally built the courage to take my music and photography./videography talents to the next level and move to Atlanta.
Living in Atlanta, I have been able to spread my wings net work with people I never thought I would net work with, become a celebrity photographer/videographer and accomplish all the things I have accomplished, in so little time. I am blessed to have taken my leap of faith because it was all worth it.
Now I plan on creating my own Content Studio creators from all over the world to can come and be themselves and make the best content they can make, a 1 stop shop.
I know specialize in Video Recaps which very popular here in Atlanta, Georgia. I also provide photography, photo editing, video editing, weddings, Events, Birthdays, real estate, ETC.
What sets me apart from Everybody else is that my work is Unique,Crispy Clear, & I will make you feel like you’re watching a movie (that’s how epic the videos will be).
I have solve many problems my clients may face. For instance, finding a talented videographer/photographer that is good at taking direction, and that is serious about their craft & consistency .Consistency is key and I love providing consistent Content to my clients.
What I am most proud of when it comes to being a Videographer/Photographer is that I get to mentor other Videographer’s/photographers. I love teaching people and helping people so that they can become the best they can be.
I want people to know that I am a human just like you, no matter how Famous you may think I am or how popular you may think I am, I also make mistakes. I am always learning and always growing each day. But one thing I will not do no matter how hard he gets is give up, my children keep me going and my love for what I do keeps me going. If I can do it, you can do it..

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me has been working with people who do Real Estate, & Public Relations (PR).

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I build my audience on social media by being consistent with posting my work. Of course be creative as much as you can but stay consistent. I provide motivational videos for people in my field of work, I provide videos people can learn from, and I love showing exclusive behind the scenes of my shoots.
If you’re just starting your social media presence, make sure you go outside as much as you can and get as much content as you can and be creative, post consistently, don’t forget to create teaching/tutorial videos , that also helps add value. Before you know it, your views will go up and your likes.
