Hi Orlando, thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?

So , I went to school for Accounting with my Masters in Taxation … Most wouldn’t guess that with my comedic side. First off, all of this video comedy, skits, stand up, etc started on a golf course many years back in the 2008/2009 … My buddy Jared aka TheeJewFro & I would be on the golf course heavily drinking and would pull out our iPhone 3GS and press record. Our initial videos were raw, uncut just us being us, on the golf course, saying off the wall funny stuff. We would then post them up on an app called Social Cam … where we blew up & we became known as “The DkF Boys” … followers grew rapidly, so we kept going with it. After that we started posting on Twitter, and IG once video possibilities came about. Recording & posting weekly, we started getting noticed by heavier hitters … got flew into NY for a party by Duracell at Jay Z’s 40/40 club, where many celebrities were, including Jay Z himself. Then got an offer for a pilot TV show on a DirectTV channel called The Bank 9 Network …. we shot several pilot videos, went back and forth with ideas, nothing really cam about from it, outside of being hired for some gaming twitch channel by the prior CEW of Back9Network. After all that, I went on my own , mainly focusing on videos on Instagrams. Now these videos are more skits and edits, actually edits, acted, written etc all by me, a one man show. I caught traction on IG, and continued to grow my comedic audience. Started doing some Stand up, and continue to do my comedy videos daily on Instagram. I often now take videos i find, especially off the wall videos, and then edit myself into them making them more funny. This has been a hit. My videos have taken me to many places, all over the USA, meeting all different kinds of people. ITs been great, and I plan to continue to grow. My last 2 vidoes last week have over 3 million views and growing. Exposure is key.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My BRAND is “iDaleeeO”… & some thing’s that come from the iDaleeeO brand include “Bald is Beautiful” “Still aint Sh*” & “Salud Migente” which all come from skits, or characters i have created over the years, I am sponsored and work with many brands, including some as large as Manscaped, Body Armor, and many other brands especially golf related. Since there are financial gains from doing all this, I also have incorporated my brand under “A Beautiful Mess Production Inc”. I love to implement brands and products into my off the wall comedic videos. I can edit, and create anything … I love being Creative.

What I am MOST PROUD OF are the messages I get from followers who mostly are strangers who have never met me in life yet thank me for the laughs I have given them, the messages of my content helping them through hard times, people who are fighting with battles and or depression contacting me, reaching out for a laugh, or simply some words. To have such a positive impact on so many people’s lives is what makes this special to me. I have fun doing it, yet at the same time I am doing something for the good! Sometimes we don’t realize how important we each are to other people.

What do I offer ? ME, who I am, I am a natural entertainer, what i do comes to me naturally. nothing is forced. So when a company wants to work with me, they are getting me, and my natural creativeness. I love creating, and implementing products and or services into it. I love working with other brands. And dont get me wrong, I may create adult humor, but I can also create sesame street type content, my creativeness, my entertainment, my humor can be from A to Z …

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

I truly believe resilience can be found in who I am, both in my “Persona” & in who I am daily where it matters most. I am a father of 2, where being a father is the most important thing in the world to me. My kids and their needs come before all else. My “Daily Job” which is my father and I’s tax accounting & IRS Controversy firm… I show up daily to get the job done … but at the same time I always make time to create, whatever it may be. whether an ad, or a comedic entertaining video. Resilience comes in keeping my off the wall wild persona, yet being a successful businessman, and a come first Father. Balance, and knowing who I am. Not letting any of the outside voices affect that. I take pride in all I do in all aspects of my life.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

One things that has come A LONG WAY for me, is my talent in editing videos. When I first started most of my work was very simple, edits were to the point and not crisp. Now adays i can edit anything, and i take pride in it. Being a one man show, and I basically edit everything on my phone., Yet I can create, put myself anywhere, cut and edit anything. It just comes second hand to me. And it all has come to me over the years through just doing, and learning. Making mistakes and learning from them.
