We recently connected with Omoniola Paye and Bridgette Manful and have shared our conversation below.
Omoniola and Bridgette, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
It all started with a dinner in Accra.
Not a pitch meeting. Not a vision board session. Just two women—both navigating their own entrepreneurial journeys—sitting across from each other in the middle of Detty December 2023, catching up over a casual meal. Bridgette brought up the idea of a workshop to empower women in business, and I was immediately intrigued because God has given me a similar vision with my organization Fearfully Made Queens. The conversation flowed like we had been planning this for years. At the time, I didn’t know that a simple catch-up and one time partnership would be the divine spark for what would become She Builds.
But let me rewind a bit.
My (Omoniola) journey didn’t begin with She Builds. I’ve been walking this entrepreneurial path since I was 14—braiding hair, writing papers, baking brownies—whatever I could do to make money and help out at home. I was raised to be resourceful. But it wasn’t just hustle—it was purpose. A divine calling that led me, years later, to shift from a path in Kinesiology to earn a degree in International Business from the University of Maryland. That decision, sparked by hearing God’s voice, shaped everything I am today. Faith has always been my compass.
So when Bridgette followed up with a formal proposal in early 2024—something she says “woo’d” me—I knew it was more than just good business. It was alignment. We both had years of experience helping others launch, scale, and sustain, and we shared the same heart for strategy, sisterhood, and spiritual grounding. We weren’t trying to build a typical agency—we were building a movement.
From idea to launch, it was a sprint and a marathon. The next few weeks looked like prayer calls, pitch decks, late-night branding sessions, building out frameworks, filing our LLC, setting up internal systems, and carving out the exact services we wanted to offer. Every detail was intentional. We wanted She Builds to feel like strategy and soul in one. Practical tools and purpose.
At the same time, we were still juggling real life. I was balancing marriage, multiple businesses, and a demanding corporate career. Bridgette had just lost her job, which made things financially difficult. But somehow, all of that pushed us harder. We believed that if God gave us the vision, He would make provision—and He did. Little by little, we built a brand rooted in community, strategy, and faith.
One of the first things we had to figure out was how to position ourselves in a way that stood out but still felt authentic. We knew we didn’t want to just “sell services”—we wanted to solve real problems. We started listening closely to women’s pain points around entrepreneurship and designed offerings that spoke to that. The feedback was immediate. Clients kept telling us how the things that came naturally to us completely changed the way they looked at their businesses. That validation fueled us.
Fast forward to today: We’ve worked with clients across industries, states and even out of the country. This includes men who found value in our clarity-driven approach and services that we offer. We’ve built long-term partnerships, hosted impactful sessions, and crafted brands that don’t just “look good”—they make sense and solve problems. She Builds is bigger than us now. It’s proof that obedience to God, alignment in partnership, and bold execution can produce something truly transformational.
So how did we start? With a conversation, a conviction, and a calling.
What happened next? We showed up—every hour, every day, every month—with grit, grace, and God at the center.
And we’re just getting started.

Omoniola and Bridgette, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
This will be an account for both Omoniola & Bridgette (Co-Founders of She Builds)
Hi, I’m Omoniola Paye—a woman of faith, a multi-business owner, a digital strategist, and a brand developer. But above all, I’m someone deeply committed to walking in purpose and helping others do the same. My journey into entrepreneurship didn’t start with a business plan—it started in middle school, with a braid rack, a laptop, and a dream. At just 14, I was styling hair, writing research papers, and selling baked goods. I was the “go-to girl” before I even realized I was building brands. Entrepreneurship was in me before I had the language for it.
At first, I pursued a degree in Kinesiology, thinking I’d enter the medical field. But a divine encounter changed everything—I heard God tell me to pivot. That moment led me to the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, where I graduated with a degree in International Business, and truly began to understand how to merge strategy with purpose.
Since then, I’ve launched multiple ventures, including MOS Extensions, a luxury hair brand, and Miss Olaa Styles, my personal styling business. But my heart has always been in the why—not just the what. That led to the creation of FMQ Talks (Fearfully Made Queens), a podcast that pours into the faith, identity, and personal growth of women, and ultimately, to my co-founding She Builds—a consultancy that empowers women entrepreneurs to turn ideas into thriving, purpose-led brands.
So what do we actually do at She Builds?
We’re not just another agency. We help visionaries, founders, and creatives build sustainable businesses that reflect their values and serve their audience well. We provide brand development, digital strategy, creative direction, and launch execution. We work with both emerging and established entrepreneurs who are stuck at the idea stage—or who are running a business that doesn’t feel aligned anymore—and help them gain clarity, confidence, and results. Whether it’s launching a product, rebranding a company, building a marketing strategy, or creating a brand identity from scratch—we’re there from vision to execution.
What problems do we solve?
We help people get unstuck. So many brilliant founders have the passion and the vision, but they don’t have the strategy or structure to bring it to life. That’s where we come in. We help you articulate your vision, clarify your voice, and build with intention. We fill the gaps between inspiration and execution—with systems, strategy, and soul.
What sets us apart is that our foundation is faith. She Builds is a God-led movement. We don’t just help you build businesses—we help you build boldly, with purpose. We pray before we plan. We listen deeply. We care. Our work isn’t transactional—it’s transformational. And because of that, our clients leave with more than a deliverable—they leave with renewed vision, confidence, and a business that actually reflects who they are.
What am I most proud of?
I’m proud of the impact. Of the clients who finally launched after sitting on an idea for years. Of the women who walked away knowing their worth again. Of the moments when people say, “I finally feel like I can do this.” That’s what keeps me going. Also, I’m proud that we’ve been able to grow She Builds in a way that still feels deeply personal, while working with people from all backgrounds, including male entrepreneurs who value our clarity and approach.
If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s this:
Your vision is valid. Your idea deserves to live. And you don’t have to figure it out alone. Whether you’re launching, scaling, or just dreaming—we’re here to help you build.
Let’s make your vision tangible. Let’s build boldly.
Because success isn’t just for a select few—it’s a promise. And with God at the center, it’s inevitable.
Hi, I’m Bridgette—a purpose-led creative, brand storyteller, and visionary strategist behind some of the most impactful transformations you’ve seen online (and probably didn’t even know I was behind). I’m the Co-Founder of She Builds Us, a creative and strategic consulting business built to support women founders, personal brands, and purpose-driven businesses in telling their story clearly, confidently, and in alignment with their calling.
My journey started in the background—helping others shine. I’ve always been passionate about storytelling, systems, and showing up with excellence, even when no one’s watching. Over the years, I found myself helping friends, churches, entrepreneurs, and organizations bring clarity to their message and professionalism to their presence. Eventually, I realized this wasn’t just a skill—it was a calling.
I didn’t just want to help people “look good” online. I wanted to help them move in alignment with what God placed inside of them. That meant going beyond branding. Beyond visuals. I wanted to dig into the why—because when you get clear on that, the what takes care of itself.
At She Builds Us, we specialize in three things:
Clarity – Helping founders and personal brands get rooted in who they are, what they offer, and why it matters.
Strategy – Mapping out what success looks like in this season, and how to get there with intention, not hustle.
Execution – Turning vision into deliverables—brand strategy decks, launch plans, presentations, and content that convert with ease.
Our clients come to us when they’re ready to pivot, grow, or finally show up in the fullness of who they are. They may feel overwhelmed, inconsistent, or unsure of how to say what they do in a way that resonates. We help them untangle the mess and build with order. Whether it’s launching a new offer, clarifying your brand voice, or creating the infrastructure for consistent content—we build from the inside out.
What sets us apart?
It’s not just about design or marketing. It’s about being spirit-led, strategy-minded, and service-centered. We’re not here to make things pretty—we’re here to make things work. When you partner with us, you’re not just hiring a creative—you’re gaining a co-strategist, a prayer warrior, a mirror, and a launch partner who genuinely cares about your success.
What am I most proud of?
I’m proud of the brands that finally came to life because someone believed in them. I’m proud of the quiet clients who now show up boldly. I’m proud of the work you don’t see—the long nights, the edits, the prayers over someone’s launch deck. I’m proud that what started as “just helping out” has become a business that helps people walk fully in their purpose.
If there’s one thing I want you to know—it’s that your story deserves to be told with excellence. You don’t have to do it all yourself. You don’t have to shrink. There is space for you to build, lead, and serve in a way that honors both God and your gifts.
So if you’re ready for clarity, alignment, and strategy that actually feels like you—welcome. You’re in the right place.
Let’s build what God gave you, together.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
If there’s one thing I’ve learned about managing a team and maintaining high morale, it’s that most problems don’t stem from lack of talent or effort—it’s the lack of effective communication that causes disconnect. Misinterpretations, assumptions, dropped balls, or unmet expectations usually trace back to something that was unclear, unsaid, or misheard.
As a business owner and leader, you have to constantly grow in this area. Communication isn’t a one-time effort or something you “set and forget.” It’s an ongoing practice—a pulse check. And the better you are at it, the stronger your team will be.
In order to manage a team well, you must develop a consistent communication style and approach that invites engagement, feedback, and clarity. This could look like regular check-ins, clear SOPs, open-door messaging, or even just asking, “What do you need from me to do your best work this week?”
High morale doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from feeling seen, supported, and safe. When your team knows they can come to you without fear, when they’re clear on what’s expected, and when they know they’re being led, not just “managed,” that’s where real momentum begins.
Also—don’t underestimate the power of affirmation. Celebrate the small wins. Highlight effort, not just outcomes. Let people know they’re doing a good job. It goes a long way.
So if you want to lead a strong team—start with communication, and build a culture where people are heard, valued, and empowered.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
At She Builds Agency, staying connected to our clients and fostering brand loyalty starts with one thing: intentionality.
We didn’t build this agency just to check boxes or offer surface-level consulting—we built it because we know what it feels like to navigate entrepreneurship alone, unsure of where to turn or who to trust. That’s why our client relationships are rooted in partnership, transparency, and care.
We stay in touch with our clients well beyond the initial project. Whether it’s through our weekly client calls, emails, exclusive client resources, or personalized follow-ups, we make sure they feel seen, supported, and celebrated every step of the way. We often say that we’re like the *fairy godmothers* every woman entrepreneur needs—and that’s not just a cute tagline. We genuinely walk with our clients through their business journey, from ideation to scaling. Even when we see our clients business on social media, we support by reposting and interacting with their content as well.
What keeps our clients coming back isn’t just the results—it’s the relationship. We pour into each business like it’s our own. We don’t believe in cookie-cutter solutions, so everything we offer is tailored, strategic, and deeply aligned with their long-term goals. That level of care builds trust, and trust creates loyalty.
We also hold space for our clients in the long run. That might look like celebrating their wins on social, looping them into our She Builds ecosystem, or just being that call they know they can make when a new challenge arises. We’re not just consultants—we’re partners in purpose.
Ultimately, our goal is to build brands that last, and that begins with building relationships that feel supportive and genuine.
