Omar, appreciate you joining us today. Any thoughts about whether to ask friends and family to support your business. What’s okay in your view?
Freedom is a Choice, INC is 501c3 non-profit that needs your support. My goal is to help youth find their purpose. We offer mentoring service to underprivilege youth, trouble youth, etc…
We use evidence-based curriculum as well as take kids on field trip to bring exposure.
Please support a community organization that strive to bring help to our youth.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Once released from prison the challenge of getting a stable job and finding a stable better living condition than what i had endure from living in a rooming house, moving back with mom while trying to pursue what i love the most and that’s serving my community was very challenging and stressful. I was told i was stupid for not taking jobs that paid better than what i was making at the time. but I persevered and stuck to what God call me to do, and I was rewarded for my obedience .

Have you ever had to pivot?
I remember I was only out of prison for a little over 2 years. It was 2009 I got laid off my job and i was kind of lost on what to do. I decided to enroll in school while drawing unemployment. But I was also offered a part time job with Heart bound ministries to serve at the Atlanta Transitional center. it was life changing but set me up to do all that I’m doing now.
