We recently connected with Oleksandr Biezmienov and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Oleksandr thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
of course I wish I could start earlier.. when you are already succesful in what you doing! I started photography in 2003 – with the first digital canon camera, did few projects and music videos, but parents never belived that you can make money with music or art, so I went to Univercity and finished MBA of Economics.
After working in big corporations and making money in managers positions – my wife, which is a photographer too, asked me to leave a company and open our own business in Cozumel and I did. We opened our own photo company and last year we already opened a photo studio on the beach with underwater, drone and studio photography., so better to start earlier then later if you really belive in yourself and not fall for a public opinion.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
we are offering 360 services of photography, it includes product, weddings, detination, studio, underwater, drone, art work, creative edits, beach photography and of course video too. I think we are very proud of all our work, no matter if it’s family session on the beach or lighthous proposal, drone art work or black and white studio sessions, we are love what we are doing and taking a lot of pride, integrity and love in each session every day. I don’t feel it and not taking it as work – now it’s life with a lot of rewards, a lot of good respond from our clients and they can see how much time, energy we are putting in each picture – that makes difference for them and they love it. Attention to details and of course fun communication!
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Regarding social media – it was a great work of my partner. Nadine is co-owner and partner in life made a huge impact with her work at social media. Hours of reserches and hours of dedication she took to make it all work! Very proud to say that without this part that Nadine did – we will never be so succesful.
Imidiate response, smile, details towards sessions, what is going to happen next and after session. How to pay. How to arrive. What to wear. Where to go after session and etc. Attention to details in communication made this business legit.
Social media and especially stories of 2 of us helped to show how much things are going on on the backgroud and again it made everyone of our client to respect and appriciate our work on different level.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
smile of the person that I took an image of make me keep going.. I just can’t stop catching those moments and keep creating memories. It’s all done with a strong feeling of the mission that I did capture an emotion that you can keep it with you through years. I love what I am doing – I love to see happy people, they feel special when they are looking at their own picture..
