We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ola Avedissian. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ola below.
Hi Ola, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
One of the most meaningful projects I’ve worked on involved creating a program designed to encourage daily wellness practices. It stemmed from a desire to help individuals move beyond momentary changes and embrace long-term habits that enhance their lives. The program integrated physical movement, mindfulness, and reflection, empowering participants to take charge of their well-being one day at a time.
The backstory lies in my journey of discovering how discipline, even in small steps, leads to profound transformation. Working with a diverse group, I witnessed how these daily practices built confidence and resilience in participants, proving that small, intentional actions create big impacts over time. This project remains close to my heart because it aligned my passion for wellness with a tangible way to positively influence others’ lives.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m passionate about helping people transform their daily routines into powerful wellness rituals that bring balance, resilience, and joy. My journey into this work started with a deep love for movement—whether it was yoga, Pilates, or fitness—but it quickly grew into something bigger as I saw the incredible impact these practices had on my life and others’. I realized wellness isn’t just about physical health; it’s about building a life you love, one intentional step at a time. What I do is all about simplicity and sustainability. I create personalized programs, group sessions, and retreats that make wellness feel achievable and fun. Whether someone feels stuck, overwhelmed, or simply needs a nudge to prioritize self-care, I help them reconnect with their strength and discover the magic of small, consistent practices. What sets me apart is my holistic approach: I combine movement, mindfulness, and actionable tools to create habits that truly stick.
The most rewarding part of my work is seeing transformations—like teenagers finding their confidence or clients taking control of their well-being for the first time. Those moments light me up! What I want people to know is that wellness isn’t about being perfect; it’s about showing up for yourself every single day, with curiosity and heart. It’s your journey, and I’m here to make it empowering and fun. Let’s create a life you love, one small step at a time!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
There was a pivotal moment in my life when I realized that I wasn’t fully living in alignment with my values. I was working tirelessly, but something was missing. My health—both physical and mental—was suffering, and I knew deep down that if I didn’t make a change, I wouldn’t be able to sustain the life I envisioned for myself. In that moment, I decided to pivot. I left behind my previous life that no longer served my well-being and committed to one that aligned with my deepest truth: the desire to be healthy and to help others do the same. I began to see health not just as the absence of illness but as a vibrant, intentional way of living. That pivot led me to build a career where health is at the center, helping others cultivate practices that transform their lives. It wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. And through that change, I discovered the power of living with purpose and the joy of empowering others to do the same.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal has always been simple yet profound: to help others create daily practices that are not only sustainable but also joyful and meaningful. I believe that when we approach life with intention and a sense of fun, transformation happens naturally. I want people to see that wellness isn’t about rigid routines; it’s about finding the flow in your life, aligning with what feels good, and building habits that bring you back to your center every day. Whether it’s through mindful movement, meditation, or small acts of self-care, the plan is to make wellness a celebration, not a chore. Because when joy becomes a part of your daily practice, the rest of life starts to feel lighter, more purposeful, and full of possibility. That’s the mission that keeps me moving forward.
