Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Odanzy. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Odanzy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear the story of how you went from this being just an idea to making it into something real.
A perfect example of this would be my latest single ‘Made My Day feat. Newman. It was a dope idea that was born 3 years ago in my room while listening to a beat my cousin made in Tampa. I had goosebumps on my skin listening to it and I started writing to it immediately. After I did, it was good but something was missing there, an extra layer I could not see at the time. So I put the project in the archives and I still made other music but came back to this track every couple of months. Three years later, I was working on a song with my friend and artist extraordinaire Newman called ‘Okay’ and before we left the studio, I decided to play him some old beats I had for a possible future collab. When he heard the uncompleted ‘Make My Day’, he asked me to send it to him as soon as possible, and 3 days later, he sent me his verse. Once I heard it, I felt those goosebumps I initially had when I heard the beat for the first time. I knew that was the finishing touch and we went to the studio that same weekend to record the whole song. The song and music video are out now, which I think emphasizes that sometimes, with the right motivation, perseverance, and people, any idea and dream can be executed with quality, even if it takes a little bit of time.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Being super real. I realized that fans just want to connect to something or someone who is telling them the truth. I know that everyone can’t like everything but being bold about the things you do like while not being negative or mean goes a long way. We have to hold the tension of being vulnerable and also having a standard, which I think increases brand loyalty and opens lines of better communication with clients
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I wish I knew more about easy phone editing software earlier in my creative journey and this is only because it was so complex to do it on the computer and took a long time, so making content became cumbersome and less frequent. But with newer phone editing apps that have short tutorials and easy-to-use features, making content now in a few minutes is a breeze! In relation to that, I also think diversifying my skillset while also assigning roles to people who are good at that specific task helped the journey move along so well because the best resources on the planet are people.
