My mission stems from a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship and empowerment. From a young age, I sought out ways to create my own wealth—whether it was doing my aunt’s nails for $5 at family cookouts, selling brownies in high school, or later expanding into hair, lashes, and driving trucks. Through these experiences, I discovered that my true purpose wasn’t just about making money for myself, but about motivating and encouraging others to chase their dreams.

When I graduated college, it became clear to me that I had a bigger responsibility—to build generational wealth, not only for my family but for everyone I can impact along the way. My mission has evolved into a journey of shared growth, as I believe that when we uplift each other, we create a ripple effect of success. My goal is to provide people in my community with the tools, mindset, and motivation to break through barriers and create lasting financial abundance, all while giving God the glory.

This mission is meaningful because it is deeply rooted in my personal journey and my desire to see others win. It’s about turning my life’s experiences, challenges, and triumphs into a blueprint for others to follow. By sharing my own pursuit of wealth and encouraging others to persevere, I’m helping to build not just individual success stories, but a community that thrives together.

Beyond real estate, I’m also a content creator with a YouTube channel, QUEEN CARLJAH, and an active presence on social media under my brand “KEEPING UP WITH QUEEN.” My platform is a reflection of my multifaceted life, where I share motivational words, lifestyle content, real estate insights, and whatever else comes to mind and heart. It’s a place where my followers can join me on my journey of personal growth, perseverance, and faith, while also receiving valuable real estate information and encouragement.

What sets me apart as a realtor and creator is my genuine desire to empower with and educate those around me. I solve problems every day by standing at the forefront for my clients, offering them support and guidance as we together navigate the complex world of real estate. But more than that, I overcome my own challenges so that I can share my growth and victories with my community, encouraging them to do the same.

I’m most proud of my relationship with God. It has truly transformed my life, allowing me to be vulnerable, humble, and graceful in my actions. My faith gives me the strength to keep going, not just for me, but for everyone I’m able to impact. The main thing I want people to know about me and my brand is that it’s not just about success—it’s about building together, empowering others, and giving glory to God every step of the way.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?

Several resources have significantly shaped my entrepreneurial mindset and management philosophy, starting with a video I was introduced to when I was just 14. I was part of a college prep program called Philadelphia Futures, now known as Heights; it’s truly an amazing program! (thanks to my mom, who insisted I joined but was spot on). It was there that I first watched Eric Thomas’s “Secrets to Success.” The video’s message hit me hard, and to this day, it’s something I go back to for motivation. One of my favorite lines is, “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe… THEN you’ll be successful.” That line lit a fire in me. I’ve carried it with me, pushing through challenges and always reminding myself of his mantra: “I CAN, I WILL, I MUST.”

However, the most significant and treasured resource in my life is the Bible. I gave my life to Christ a little over a year ago, and it’s been the foundation of my journey ever since. I’ve joined Elevation Family Worship Center and it has allowed me to dive deeper into understanding God’s word, which I truly believe is the ultimate guidebook for life. Growing up, my grandmothers raised me in the church, but this is the first time I’m seeking God for myself, building a personal relationship, and seeing myself through His eyes.

With the armor of God and motivation from Eric Thomas, I’ve been able to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and faith. I’ve also gained insights from books like Atomic Habits, How to Win Friends and Influence People, and How to Get Good at Making Money. These resources have sharpened my approach to both personal development and business, helping me become the “BEAST” I strive to be in my career and life!

Honestly, my story of resilience is still being written. I’ve worn many hats—cosmetologist, truck driver, substitute teacher—and while each chapter has taught me valuable lessons, I’m still on the path of seeking my true passion. Some days, I feel confident and unstoppable, and other days, I question everything, wondering if I’m on the right path.

But what keeps me going is my unwavering trust in God. Even when I don’t have all the answers or know exactly where I’m headed, I’m anchored by the belief that He won’t leave my side. Every setback, every moment of uncertainty, is shaping me into the person I’m meant to become. My resilience comes from this faith—that no matter how winding or unclear the journey may seem, God is guiding me every step of the way.

So, in truth, the story of my resilience is ongoing. I invite you to join me as I continuously navigate this path, trusting that there’s purpose in every twist and turn, and knowing that, together, we can persevere through life’s challenges.
