We were lucky to catch up with North Woodall recently and have shared our conversation below.

North, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?

North, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

As a solo artist and seasoned songwriter, 2unes is an independent force in the music industry, known for a compelling musical journey that showcases their unique creative voice and consistent evolution. Their career is built on a foundation of collaboration and innovation, continually pushing creative boundaries.

2unes’s discography began with a fruitful partnership with producer Randy Hoexter. Their early critically acclaimed projects include the CDs Hot and Cool and Straight at You. This collaborative chapter concluded with their final project, Between the Lobes, a testament to their enduring creative synergy. Following this, their catalog was further enriched by the 2017 CD Loving Too, demonstrating their consistent artistry and growth as a solo artist.

Transitioning to new creative horizons, 2unes connected with the talented producer Gold as Chris “Big Dog” Davis. This new partnership led to a series of impactful singles that further defined 2unes’s sound. Their collaborations include the powerful track “For the Love of Money,” a fresh remix of Anita Baker’s classic “Giving You the Best That I Got,” the funky and vibrant “Funky Sister,” and the dynamic singles “Times quare,” “Still Hanging,” and “Central.” Each track in this series highlights a different facet of 2unes’s artistry and their ability to work across genres.

Currently, 2unes is embarking on a new creative phase with producer Adam Hawley. This collaboration has already yielded two successful songs: the recently released “Making Moves” and their newest single, “Massive.” The momentum continues with a new song in the works, titled “On the Move,” which promises to build on their recent success.

A prolific creator with a wide network of collaborators, 2unes’s music is available on all major platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. In their ongoing commitment to expanding their career and reach, 2unes is also leveraging the services of a professional, full-service independent record label, further solidifying their presence in the industry.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

from being in a band to become a solo artist and creating your own music,and hearing it on the radio and getting a check in the mail.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Resources that I wish I had of known about were knowning the music business better ! cause if you don,t known the business you are not going to have any music
