Norah, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I founded my clothing brand in honor of my late father, who passed away when I was young. It is a heartfelt extension of his legacy, reflecting his commitment to quality and style. Each garment we create is a tribute to his influence, ensuring that his memory lives on through our brand.

Azure Co. is a Dallas, Texas-based streetwear clothing brand with a rich legacy deeply rooted in the late Mr. Shazad Wali, the father of Norah Shazad, the brand’s owner. Our collection encompasses an array of clothing and accessories, all meticulously crafted to deliver unparalleled quality and service to our cherished clientele.
In addition to our clothing line, Norah Shazad, the driving force behind Azure Co., is also a talented author who has penned three compelling poetry books: “Scarlet Rose & Growth,” “Caged Thorns,” and “Sparked Flame.” These literary works delve into the profound themes of depression, cultural and religious exploration, and coping mechanisms, offering a poignant exploration of the complexities of adulthood.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
From an early age, my fascination with fashion was apparent as I keenly observed the outfits of those around me and even attempted to design my own. Simultaneously, I had a profound affection for the world of art and once dreamt of becoming an artist. These twin passions ignited a unique spark within me, which eventually led me down the path of establishing my very own clothing brand.
The allure of fashion, with its power to convey identity and creativity through clothing, drew me in. As I dabbled in designing, I realized that fashion could be a canvas for my artistic inclinations. It offered a way to blend my love for style and my deep-seated passion for creative expression. This revelation was a turning point, and it sparked the idea of creating a brand that would serve as a platform for my artistic vision.
With determination and an unwavering commitment to my dream, I embarked on this journey. I have poured my heart and soul into my clothing brand, consistently honing my craft and refining my designs. It hasn’t been without its challenges, but witnessing my brand flourish and evolve over time has been immensely rewarding. The growth and success of my brand is not only a testament to my dedication but also a realization of my childhood dream of merging art and fashion into a thriving venture.
