We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nona Djavid a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Nona, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
When I first launched my private practice, I used the universal chiro checklist. The one that tells you how to brand your practice, price your services, and increase revenue slowly over years of repetitive action. I was building a practice based on someone else’s goals. It wasn’t until I interrupted my pattern of engrained (mis)behavior, that I quantum leaped right into a thriving, successful practice.
What I realized along the way is that there were countless business owners – just like me – operating by industry standards that were outdated and didn’t allow for customization. I decided to take a risk and step into entrepreneurial coaching. Through private coaching and the eLIVate Club, I’ve been able to connect with thousands of business owners and entrepreneurs who want to make quantum leaps in their lives. eLIVate Club techniques are self-discovery meets wealth-creating ambition. I create practical step-by-step solutions to the biggest challenges today’s business owners face.
In addition to weekly lessons and live coaching sessions, I’ve created eLIVate Retreats. These immersive experiences bring together some of the top minds in a variety of businesses so we can learn from one another and grow in areas of health, wealth, and connections. If I hadn’t taken a risk by stepping into coaching entrepreneurs on how to build businesses that align with their personal values, I know I wouldn’t experience the freedom and fulfillment I do today.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Travel and adventure have always been a passion, but when I became a chiropractor and opened my own practice, the freedom to enjoy those passions was quickly consumed. I spent endless hours in the minutia of my practice, following the scripts, applying someone else’s vision to my brand.
I couldn’t find a model that gave me freedom in all areas: money, time, and energy. Everything that existed was outdated, salesy, and masculine. AND it worked. BUT it was not designed to give you any kind of freedom.
So I created my own model. And that is exactly how I built a Part Time Million Dollar Cash Practice.
SMART goals only get you to what’s probable because they’re based on what’s been done before by you and others in your circle. Possible goals and dreams are juicy, wild, and expansive. When I shifted my energy into what I knew was possible versus what was probable, I found the freedom I deserved. Now, I’m so grateful to get to coach other entrepreneurs on how to do the same.
For more than a decade, I’ve supported entrepreneurs, parents, partners and everyone in between with designing a custom, juicy life. What I know for sure is the ability to live an eLIVated life is already inside each of us. I provide step-by-step coaching and community engagement to shift my member’s lives to the highest version of themselves.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Having a life vision has completely changed my personal and professional experiences. What I know for sure, and what I’ve helped thousands of entrepreneurs put into practice, is that you must design a life and business that’s authentic to your goals. When I quit on the old, outdated sales scripts and started making decisions for my businesses that were in alignment with my personal values, I found freedom in three key areas: time, energy, and money.
My primary pivot in my business was shifting away from SMART goals. By spending the majority of my time setting SMART goals, I was unintentionally limiting my own growth, networking abilities, and new opportunities that offer an immensely higher return on investment. I decided that I didn’t have to have all the answers up front, but that I would set my goal and keep making decisions to get me close to it. Throughout the majority of my life story, I don’t know the “how” before I start, and that’s ok. I stay concentrated on the what and keep moving forward.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
The eLIVate Club includes entrepreneurs from around the world. One of the most powerful sources of connection for the group is social media. We use a variety of platforms to not only expand our marketing reach but also connect with a larger pool of business owners. Through private communication channels we’re able to ask authentic questions, guide one another, and share stories of how we built our business.
Video is also a key element in my social media success. I never want to lose connection with my members and users. So, a routine live presence online allows me to connect with those already a part of my business and those just checking things out. By keeping the branding uniform across platforms, it’s easy to spot the eLIVate brand and connect on different levels.
