A long time ago, I was a young marketing manager in France, and a new Marketing Director was nominated. He was coming from a totally different sector than the one our company was operating. He used to create a special individual relationship with each of the team member, coming in our workspace, sitting with us, being verry accessible, and joyful must of the time. But what truly made me think he was the best manager ever is this moment we had together when he told me ‘ It is not a problem if I am not an expert of what you do, because you should be the expert, the one who shares with me data. analysis and conclusions, and me I am here to validate the decisions you are helping me to forge and to give you the means to achieve great…

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

As i was 18 years old, I already knew I was meant to ‘help the others’ and especially to help them shine, grow and succeed. I took my time to follow this path, as i felt oblige to satisfy my parents expectations first. I was 35 years old when i finally became who I was meant to be : an executive coach. I will never regret my business school and marketing path, as I had the opportunity to discover the working world and to built irreplaceable experience. I think what makes a good coach is a mix of personality, energy charisma and technics, skills, knowledge. I do believe I have a very strong technical background with my Coach certification, my master practitioner in NLP, in Hypnosis, mt certification as a trainer, and many more as i train myself every year on a new topic, and at the same time what really makes me a good coach is that I truly believe in Humans, what we can achieve, all the resources that we have in ourself and that we can activate to reach our goals and make our dreams come true.
I choose to focus on executive an business’ coaching, because I am passionate about communication, collaboration and multi-cultural environments.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

In 2013, I had to change country and move from France to Germany. At the time my kids were 3 and 1 year old, my level of Germán was very low and I had to drop the business i had created in France, when after 3 months it started to be running smoothly. This experience thought me three very important things about myself : first, I need time to absorb big life changes, i need time to mourn my old life, and to be ready to embrace my new one. Second : I am so good at building relationships, after 5 years in Germany i was implanted almost like a native, and I made friends forever. Third : when you are passionate by communication, it is easy to learn and to practice foreign language, it was in fact part of my DNA. I cried two times… when I arrives and when I left Germany. I had to move to fly to Miami !!! And guess what all the things that i learned from my first expatriation happened again : the need of mourning, the ability to build relationship and I did learn Spanish, so now I can speak 4 foreign languages.

Can you open up about a time when you had a really close call with the business?

Mars 2020… I am flying every month in Europe where i still have a large part of my business, Covid 19 is striking, closing the borders, I have to stay 9 weeks at home with 0 activity, nothing !!! I told my husband : this is it will have to close my company… I started offering free coaching for all the people who were super anxious, he ones we got fired for the fist tome of their life. I read the books I did not have time to read before, and I followed all the business trends around me…. This period was source of anxiety for me too, so I decided to hire a coach that I knew to do hypno relaxation, and to work on very deep psychological topics i have been having since my childhood. I used this period to gather my energy, to take care of myself and when the online business just pop up out of nowhere I was fully ready to embrace it.
