We recently connected with Noah Star and have shared our conversation below.
Noah, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I started pursuing dance in 2001 while part of a dance production in middle school. As my creativity in dance progressed through my teenage years, I decided that I would pursue a degree in Communications and Fine Arts. This sparked a desire to develop a plan to have my own dance company, Star Gravity Dance Company. This plan morphed into something that has not only benefited me financially but allowed me to choreograph sweet sixteen parties and pageants to helping work with dancers on sets that perform with R&B artists and Rap groups in videos and on stage.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My original plan for Star Gravity was to help people build confidence in the art of dancing. I wanted them to feel comfortable making mistakes and feel free to express themselves through dance, without feeling insecure about who they are as an individual.
This has created opportunities to work with teenagers to the elderly. Teenagers have been able to learn structure and discipline in dancing to put on shows where they are able to shine like diamonds in the rough. The elderly come to rebuild their confidence to move and have fun again.
Some of my proudest moments are being recognized after performances by others who follow me on Social Media and say how I have positively impacted their lives.
How did you build your audience on social media?
When I built my social media platform, I uploaded a lot of videos that demonstrated my talents and abilities. I also allowed others to see my mistakes and my successes. This opened doors to other people in the field to offer help to build my business through networking.
My advice is to not be afraid to be different. There are always people looking for different.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being creative is there are no limits to what you can do and how far you are willing to go to be unique. I am always being recognized as being different and unique. This tends to separate me from being like someone else.
I am uniquely me and what I offer is unique. You will never see or experience the same service that someone else offers.
