We recently connected with Noah Kwon and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Noah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I was as an architectural designer at a NYC-based design firm. It was an incredibly demanding role, both mentally and physically. I turned to caffeine as a quick fix — sometimes up to 9 cups of coffee a day — but soon realized the toll it was taking on my health and searched for a healthier alternative.
Having grown up in a family with a background in eastern medicine, I gravitated towards herbal traditional medicine, which became my solution to sustain my energy without the downsides of caffeine. I wanted to share this with others, so I created a caffeine-free herbal tea blend that boosts energy while lowering stress and anxiety.
I saw a gap in the market — while there are products with similar benefits, none offered them in the form of a daily tea ritual. NOAH invites you to pause and prioritize your well-being through the act of brewing a sachet of tea, engaging with the herbs through your senses—smelling their aromas, witnessing their colors, and savoring their flavors. Unlike quick-fix solutions, this intentional practice fosters a deeper connection with your body and mind. Offering a sustainable, daily alternative to caffeine could help others who are sacrificing their peace and mental stability to push through the day with short-term solutions.
I am excited by the opportunity to share a piece of my culture and heritage with the world. In introducing Eastern wisdom on wellbeing, I look forward to see how this idea can improve people’s health worldwide without sacrificing vibrant lifestyles.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
As a spatial experience designer with exposure to Eastern medicine through my father, I’m inspired to curate not only spaces, but also experiences that allow people to live intentionally and to their fullest. Our brand is launching with The Noah Blend, which embodies our brand’s ethos of peace in motion — not to take away from one’s vibrancy in life’s but to allow them to maneuver in peace. We are also working on expanding our product line to address specific wellness needs, such as energy, depression, inflammation, and detoxification.
With my unique perspective as a second-generation immigrant, I am bridging cultures and committed to make the ancient wisdom of Eastern medicine relevant in today’s world with a global audience. In navigating the competitive wellness market, I am committed to showcase the natural healing qualities in herbs to the world. Partnering with my father, an expert in herbal medicine, I am translating traditional practices into a modern and accessible solution.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I initially built my social media presence by sharing insights into my life as an architectural designer. Showcasing how design influences my perspective on the world and highlighted what I find valuable and beautiful, my content evolved into discussions about spatial experiences that resonated with a growing audience interested in architecture.
Consistency was key to my growth. While quality is important, the algorithm tends to favor quantity. Posting regularly increases the chance for your page to be discovered. For those starting to build a social media presence, I advise niche down on topics you are knowledgeable and passionate about and focus on providing valuable information and gradually introduce more of your personality.
One content series that significantly contributed to growing my audience was ‘Get Ready with Me for Work as an Architectural Designer at Ralph Lauren in NYC.’ This series piqued curiosity about the brands I wear, my work experience, how I attained my position, corporate work culture, my weekend activities, and even what I bring for lunch. My page now has a good mix of architectural discussions and content related to my brand, creating a well-rounded and engaging feed.

Can you talk to us about manufacturing? How’d you figure it all out? We’d love to hear the story.
To create our product, I collaborated with my father to select ingredients that offered specific benefits to enhance my lifestyle. I then conducted experiments with various herbal ingredients and specific ratios to achieve a unique and delightful taste.
Next, I reached out to multiple vendors in Asia to provide samples of the ingredients for quality checks. Through this process, I identified the best quality ingredients that could extract the specific taste I was aiming for. Some of the ingredient vendors were the ones my parents sourced for their business, while others were individuals from Korea, China, and Japan.
Utilizing my skills in 3D modeling and branding, I curated the specific tonality, graphics, and creative direction for the product. I also developed models of the product design and sourced exact materials. Ordering countless product samples from multiple vendors was a crucial step even if it cost significantly more than expected.
Out of roughly 100 vendors I contacted, I ordered samples from around 30. After many iterations, I decided to move forward with 5 vendors. These vendors were sourced through connections from school, some from referrals, and lastly, through thorough research online.
One of the key lessons I learned throughout this process is the importance of building good relationships with vendors. Being kind and respectful is crucial, as you may need to come back to them for future orders or adjustments.
