We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Noa Morchi a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Noa, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
my Name is Noa, i’m 25 and i’m originaly from Israel.
i’ve been dancing all my life and i always had the dream of moving to states to pursue a dance career in the “big world”.
back home i danced with all the famous artists , on Israel’s biggest satges, music videos ets.
i felt like i wanted more for myself, so i started working on my O1 artist visa , and i took a lip of faith and courage and i moved to los angeles in may 2023.
i gave up a lot to be here, being away from my family and friends and safe space.
for something that is not promised. i have to get up everyday and push myself and put myself out there to get closer to my dreams.
as much as it’s challenging , it’s also really inspiring and i’ve learned to count on myself and be my own best friend and for that i am very grateful.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
my name is Noa Morchi , i’m 25 and I’m a dancer originally from Israel.
I’ve been dancing and performing for many years back home, working on different projects and with many talented artists.
In 2023, I moved to the United States to keep growing and pursuing my dance career. It hasn’t been easy, I had to start over, face challenges, and give up a lot , but i know it’s going to be worth it.
one thing that is really really important to me is always lead with kindness and stay true to myself through it all.
Dance is my way of expressing emotion and connecting with people. My goal is to inspire others to keep chasing their dreams, no matter where they come from or how hard it gets and to do it with kindness and heart. I believe that how you reach your goals is just as important as the goals themselves.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
i always think about how short life is, how much we need to take advantage of our time here,
so i want to always make myself proud, it’s the most important thing for me. to know that i’m doing everything ican every single day, and to never give up my voice and my values.
i want to be able to look back o my past and be like wow i did this! i did this by myself. and i want to make myself so proud.
and again, i always want to be kind to everyone around me, you never know who you meet, and you never know how much your smile and kindness can actually effect someone’s day.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
to feel like youve inspired someone or moved someone. like you truly made a difference.
being on stage and making eye conatct with somone , and making them smile through your art!
or even just hearing the croud yell and clap.
it’s the best feeling in the world.
another thing i love about dance, is to watch the proccess of a project, whether it’s a performance or a music video,
to see the beginning point and watch how it evoloves and comes to life after a few reharsels.
it’s so magical!
