Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Njigia (gigi) ` Bisong. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Njigia (gigi) `, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
For me it was an internal intuitive hit an early age. It was as if the energy of “who I am at Soul Level” Was gifted and shown to me at an early age.
I was in elementary school and terribly shy but when I had my first opportunity to speak in front of the classroom something took over me. The shyness I had at the lunchroom table was dissolved and I felt at home. I felt a sense of wisdom and confidence when speaking in front of an audience. I also knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was that age. Yet I knew I did not want to teach math and science. I remember saying to myself at the age of 12 ” We send kids to school so they can become successful adults. And yes adults are nice and they all seem to be doing fine. The ones I know have houses or apartments. Some have nice cars others get around on a bus and they have jobs and are polite to me but when I look into their eyes – I see something is missing.. I don’t want to grow up to be them. To me a job and a car doesn’t equal success …there is something that we are missing when it comes to teaching kids. That missing thing is what true success is. I dont know what that is but I wanna figure it out …and once I do that’s what I wanna teach people”.
For me – I was shown early on what I would be doing now and the journey of my life really was my schooling. It helped me to ground my knowledge deeper than any formal training could have done. The skills I think are essential for my work is the sill of being embodied. You can take a class online to learn how to teach meditation or the art of storytelling or how to be a coach (which I have). But the skills that have helped me were not any particular training but it was life itself and being devotional with my life.
When challenges arose in my life…I would go into prayer., devote to living life as a prayer and ceremony. Wisdom and magic would appear that no book or certificate could ever teach me. This lessons were know living in my body not just in my mind. would feel the seed of my soul and know her frequency and allow her to fill my body so energetically I could hold her power. Even if the world around me (peers etc) didn’t see or honor my unique qualities …me having a direct relationship with Gods love – and with my truest self was and is the foundation of my work.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I love to work with female business owners, artists, medicine carriers or thought leaders who might have gone through
Feeling as though they are not enough – which can cause them to over perform
And isolate.. which brings them into fatigue
The women I work with may feel as thought their back might’ve felt heavy as they carry the load and vastness of their vision all on their own. Feeling burdened by the work
Burdneed by all the money it takes to give the vision wings.
But show up to show them Theres another way.
Its called creating a village around your vision.
I have spaces like a virtual village for women who might have felt a lack of
Confidence to start their business or art.
Women Dealing with imposter syndrome
Having a hard time being in their voice
They do not show up consistently because of their inner battles
Their inner dialogue is not empowering
They sometimes Feel exhausted of doing it all by yourself with little to no support.
As a parent…..Your child first learns from your state of consciousness while in the womb. And your vision does the same. It will vibrate and transmit at the state of consciousness you are in when it was birth…Everything you consciously experience, your state of mind, your relationship to the world and your rapport to your vision, are all transmitted to vision and become the foundation of your viisons subconscious, which is the root of the personality and shape of the vision.
In this village I created you will begin to relate to your vision with more ritual and sacredness all while feeling the deep support from the village of other visionaries
Many of us may have split off from who you really are to become who you think you need to be to get love and acceptance. But as a child is yearning for the whole mother to show up and parent it. The soul of her – the higher self of her.
Our visions are asking the same. They are asking for the whole of you – the soul of you – the higher self that you hold, to parent it. To raise it. Not your insecure self.
In this virtual space you will have rituals, morning practices, journal prompts, prayers, ,meditations, movement practices etc to help you into your worthiness as the mother of this vision.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
I think as a society we have to choose what we want to feed. Many of us are feeding narratives and companies that do not heal or nourish our souls, power or light. In fact many of them do the exact opposite and poison us. I feel society needs to choose to unhook from these narratives and water the artist in US. Water the artists within ourselves, in our communities and the artists in the world. The artist, community organizes and creators who are here to birth new realities, new systems and new narratives that breathe more love and connection into our world. Where we choose to put our time, dollars and metal attention and intention keeps certain things alive and thriving.
And The world is in dire need of these new visions that are within the artists and creatives. The world is asking for all Mothers to rise and birth. I don’t mean people that have children per se but those that have the frequency of the mother energy within them. Meaning those that are here to birth new realities …those that have the compassion, deep empathy, wisdom and fierce protector energy of a mother.
The mainstream culture wants us as creators to be too preoccupied with how we look so we don’t even have time to birth let alone raise our visions.
It wants us too insecure and consumed with fear to even think about burning the BS structures or systems down.
It wants us so programmed to FILLING up our schedules that we don’t have space to actual FEEL or BE.
But in every moment we have a choice.
A choice to choose again.
A choice to say No.
The culture i’m speaking of wants us unwell. It profits off of our unwellness. It feeds off of it.
But – our our visions, our bodies and our spirit is way more powerful!
It is time for us to fully protect who gets to raise our visions.
It is time for us to protect what narratives we allow to take up space in these gorgeous vessels we call our bodies.
It is YOU who is the Mother of this vision and it is imperative that you are WELL
WELL enough so you may carry, birth and raise this vision to its maturity.
We tend to silence the wise seeds within with our addictions and our constant chasing OF SUCCESS and external validation. Basically Putting our wise seeds in a room to be quiet and “behave” until we realize our addiction to the mainstream culture is what is drowning the true gold we hold within.
We have had an allegiance to this culture.
Keeping up with the trends,
Singing their words of limitations and signing our lives away to be put in their trance.
We split off from who we really are to become who we think we need to be in order to get that love. But as a child is yearning for the whole mother to show up and parent it. The soul of her – the higher self of her.
Our visions are asking the same. They are asking for the whole of us – the soul of us – the higher self that we hold, to parent it. To raise it. Not our insecure self.
Our visions do not want to be birthed or parented by the insecure us. That is what damages and creates suffering to the child and to the vision
Just think about it….How would a child walk in the world who was loved, seen and valued no matter what..It would feel nourished and honored not just by its birth mother, father but by the entire community …for its uniqueness. So this is what is needed from society for us all to choose to be whole…to know our souls…to choose where our devotion is coming from and to be a village to the visionaries around us. We might not need another Target in our community but we need the visionary who has deep care and passion for the safety of that community to have their vision watered so it comes into reality. Because that artist/creative has a seed that will feed many.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes, I always connect to my elder me. I imagine me on my dying bed and I see a women who was fully expressed and lived her life and created all the things she knew she was meant to. When I see her she looks whole! She looks radiant, at peace and like a woman who did what she came into this life to do. This vision and the vision of connecting with my inner child (My 9 year old me) keeps me going. It reminds me that I want to die as my elder me is showing me what it would look like to die fully complete. And it reminds me that i’m here to give my 9 year old me the experience of being a woman that is FREE
