We recently connected with Nizar13 and have shared our conversation below.
Nizar13 , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The mission behind trutt was always simple, it’s about being free. Free to move how we want, free to create, free to get information and to take initiatives while staying true to what we do.
From the start, it was about building something real, a platform where everybody involved can grow, get knowledge, and move with his own purpose and to document and protect the growth.
-Even though we work with selective artists and labels, they’re the ones who made themselves special, not us.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Nizar, and I’m the founder of trutt, a platform built to give artists and creatives a real space to grow, get recognized, and move with purpose. I got into this because I know what it feels like to put your heart and mind into your work and art and at the same time face the obstacles built by the industry. We didn’t want to just join the industry and fully adapt to it, we wanted to build something different.
The biggest thing we solve is giving structure, information and assistance to artists and creatives who are serious about their craft but don’t want to lose themselves in the noise of trends and algorithms and industry obligations.
We consider artists and creatives as partners in this project, that is naturally shown by sharing the vision and that’s what I’m most proud of: staying independent, rooted, and focused on long-term value, not short-term hype.
We’re here to document the journey, protect the art, and evolve.
In addition to the support we provide through the label and design studio, we’ve also created a separate tool for artists and labels, our music and video distribution service at:
https://music.trutt.co
It’s designed to give them the freedom to share their work independently, enhanced with AI tools to optimize the experience, all while staying updated with the latest industry changes and ensuring transparency in how their content is distributed.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
This is a great question, and my answer comes from my own experience. I’ve always maintained that balance and growth in management by keeping the human connection first.
For some, that might not be considered ‘professional’ in the traditional sense, but in my experience, it’s what truly makes a difference on the long run.
The backing we’ve had from our partners, labels, startups, music specialists, and artists both locally and globally, has always been grounded in building a connection on a human level first, and that was the case for every meeting I recall.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I must say it’s the “self discovery”, for example the moments of doubts will surely appears as they slowing down the growth, but it is a way to stop and realize your set and after that you can rethink or just continue, to me it is so confidential and private and only experienced by creatives and artists.
The process of creation itself is the real goal for me It’s important to handle discomfort and failure, and face the version of yourself that comes out at your lowest. Also, stay aware of what might distract you from your real purpose when you’re at your highest.
