Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nina Schulze. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Nina, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’re complete cheeseballs and so we love asking folks to share the most heartwarming moment from their career – do you have a touching moment you can share with us?
There are many heartwarming stories from my career that inspire me and keep me moving forward, however the one that stands out to me the most is one about one of my younger clients. I have always had a close connection with children- I’ve worked in daycares and elementary schools and I have my own children. I know how important it is for a child to have someone that they can trust and talk to (and be taken seriously). A parent had brought their child to me to help relieve them of their anxiety and night terrors. At first, this precious child was shy and timid and we took some time to get to know each other (the mother always present by my request). After a bit, the child felt so comfortable that they crawled into my lap to sit and look at some of the crystals that I was showing them. We talked about all the things, including Reiki, where they asked what that was. Giving them a demonstration on myself, they asked me to put my hands on theirs and then they gasped, “Your hands feel like ringing!” We continued to talk as the child would move my hands on their head and tummy and knees until they eventually fell asleep in my arms. It was the cutest thing! Later that evening, their mother sent me this message, “Nina, I want to thank you again for today. Child has been talking about your gentle hands and how they made their tummy feel better. I don’t think they have ever napped so well!” I will forever hold this experience close to my heart.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Nina Schulze and I am an Integrative Health Practitioner, Master Hypnotherapist that specializes in past life and age regression, and a Reiki Master Teacher. I started my business The Wholeness Hut in February 2021 offering holistic interventions both in-person and remotely. After being diagnosed with some health issues and seeing the difference integrative medicine made in my life, I wanted to be able to share and teach my knowledge with others to help them along with their healing journeys. I offer Energy Healing (Reiki in-person and remote, Huna-Ki integrative energy body and spirit alignment, Chakra Light Healing) and Regression Hypnotherapy (past life regression and inner child healing). I am also an author and you can find my published works on Amazon.
At the very least, I offer stress reduction and relaxation to my clients; however, my services help to induce the relaxation response which helps to reduce blood pressure and reduce oxygen levels, promote better breathing techniques, promote muscle relaxation, reduce anxiety, improve attitude, improve sleep quality, promote a deeper connection to themselves and help to break behavioral patterns and cycles that often hold us back in life. My goal is to discover the root cause of the issue at hand and to move forward from there.
One thing that I’m recently most proud of and I think somewhat sets me apart from others is that I do offer Past Life Regression services at Denver’s locally owned For Heaven’s Sake New Age Metaphysical Books and Gifts every Monday and Psychic Fair Fridays. You can also find me at 2023’s ETHDENVER in the Zen Zone, and of course, I’ll be at the Denver Body Mind Spirit Expo this spring.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
A story from my journey that I believe that illustrates my resilience is probably my own personal age regression and inner child healing. I have felt, almost my entire life, that I was not supported by family or friends (even though I did have a cheering section). I wanted to know where that came from. When I did my own age regression, I learned the harsh truth of being neglected as a baby. Because I wanted to make sure this wasn’t just my imagination, I asked some of my family members about it, and I found out not only was this true, but they had kept it as a secret. Which of course, brought on an array of emotions from anger to deep sadness to disappointment. But now that I had found out the truth behind my intention, it made perfect sense to why I would feel as though I wasn’t supported. While just knowing this information helped, I proceeded on with some inner child healing where I was able to be guided back to this time to heal and “rescue” that child. It was the most remarkable experience to be able to feel (in that present moment) the same feelings that I felt in that moment so many years ago. When everything was all said and done, I felt as though I had replaced pieces of me that I didn’t even realize were missing. Like there was more love, compassion and understanding for myself- a knowing that I am precious and that I am supported and loved.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Oh golly- I guess it all comes down to boundaries- that is the biggest lesson that I’ve had to unlearn. Karmic cycles impact our life and continue to impact our life until we’re able to break that cycle. Recently mine has been the friend boundary. Realizing that not everyone is there to be a friend, not everyone is there for your best interest, and not everyone is there to support you. My lesson to learn was that trust is like an hourglass where trust builds up slowly over time and not just handed over to just anyone; that it’s smarter to ‘work in the dark’ so to speak, then tell people your plans; and to quit jumping head first into murky waters- because you never know where there’s a shark lurking. Boundaries- they are so, so important to your health and wellbeing and sanity!
