Nina Maria , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
In my profession, I offer Boudoir Photo- and Video Shoots
for women, but my approach goes beyond just capturing
images. As a certified Pleasure Coach from the School of
Womanly Arts, guided by Mama Gena, I strive to empower
women to embrace their unique feminine essence.
My sessions begin with coaching, where I guide women to
embody their true selves through various tools and
techniques. This coaching sets the foundation for the photo
shoot, creating a safe and supportive space for exploration
and self-expression. What sets my sessions apart is that I
also dress in lingerie to support the atmosphere and vibe of
the moment together, creating a sense of connection and
camaraderie.
One of the highlights of my sessions is the incorporation of
a self-chosen “walk-on song” which serves as a catalyst for
a turned-on dance, breaking the ice and igniting the
creative energy. As the camera starts rolling, capturing the
highlights of the experience, I focus on guiding the woman
with attention and care, creating a space where she feels
safe, seen, and appreciated.
Transitioning seamlessly between embodied sensuality and
divine feminine expression, I aim to facilitate a sense of flow
throughout the session. It’s a dance between
empowerment and vulnerability, where each moment is
cherished and celebrated.
But my innovation doesn’t stop there. I also offer virtual
photo shootings, revolutionising the world of boudoir
photography. Through a simple app, women can connect
with me from anywhere in the world, allowing for remote
control and guidance throughout the session. The comfort
of one’s own home helps tremendously to relax and let go
into the experience, resulting in stunning images that
capture the essence of their femininity.
In the end, my goal is not just to capture moments but to
empower women to embrace their beauty, sensuality, and
power. Through boudoir photography and video shoots, I
invite women to celebrate their femininity and reclaim
ownership of their bodies and desires. It’s a journey of self-
discovery, liberation, and empowerment, guided by the
belief that every woman deserves to feel confident, sensual,

beauty is constantly evolving, I am redefining the way women
perceive themselves through my innovative virtual photography
sessions. My work promises not just stunning images, but a

photography practice of ‘Miksang’ – which in Tibetan means
‘good eye’ – focuses on capturing moments of authentic
presence. This practice, combined with my education under
the renowned Mama Gena, founder of The School of Womanly
Arts, equips me to help women gain confidence, embrace their
feminine selves and be radiantly alive in front of my lens.
I’ve always been passionate about photography since I was a
teenager. With my camera, I can capture any moment,
anywhere. Through Miksang, I learned to see the world in a
new way, and now I use this to help women see themselves in
a new light.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
My journey as an artist began early in life. At just 10 years old, I
was already creating songs, playing the piano, tap dancing,
and participating in theater performances. Being creative felt
so easy and natural to me. Throughout high school, I continued
to explore new forms of creativity, engaging in creative writing,
making films, and focusing heavily on photography.
University further shaped my artistic path. I majored in
performing arts and later expanded into meditation,
photography and film. However, the most significant
development in my journey occurred before university when
I met the director of Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado,
where I eventually earned both my BA and MA degrees. I
attended a seminar with her on the relationship between
meditation and the creative process, called ‘contemplative
dance.’ This workshop was a turning point, where I discovered
my purpose and passion as an artist: to be in a state of flow.
Flow, for me, is about moving beyond the ego and conceptual
thinking, being fully present with the energy and expression of
pure creativity and improvisation. In contemplative art, the goal
is to synchronise body and mind, allowing creative energies to
flow authentically and freely. For example, in contemplative
photography, I might be walking along the street when
something suddenly stops my mind. I capture that moment
exactly as I see it, without filters or alterations. This practice
connects me directly to my environment, allowing me to
experience the world as vividly alive and radiant.
This heightened perception feels euphoric, if not to say blissful
like being in love with what surrounds me. By being fully present and open, my
senses are more acute, and I perceive the beauty of the world
in an enhanced way. This state of flow is not only a personal
experience but also one that I share with my clients during
Virtual or In-Person Boudoir Photo-Video Shoots.
When I conduct these shoots, I enter a visual world that is
authentic and alive. Staying fully present and synchronising my
body and mind allows me to connect deeply with the woman in
front of my lens. This state of flow creates an extraordinary
experience, where I see her become an irresistible expression
of her feminine self, radiating genuine happiness and joy.
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist is
experiencing this state of flow with my clients. It is in these
moments of shared artistic expression that the true magic of
creativity unfolds, transforming both of us into vibrant
embodiments of our most authentic selves.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
As a photographer, my creative journey is driven by a profound
goal: to immerse myself in a state of flow where the ego-mind
disappears, replaced by pure awareness and creativity in
action. This state of being is not just a personal aspiration but
one I strive to share with my clients.
My mission is to experience and offer this dynamic space as
often as possible, helping clients discover their authenticity and
beauty in the process.
In today’s world, where social media often fuels competition
and comparison, achieving ease and self-acceptance is no
small feat. Online personas can project perfection, but how
does one truly feel beneath the surface? This question
underscores the essence of my unique photo shoot
experience, which stands as a testament to authentic
sensuality expressed freely, with aliveness and joy.
I want as many women as possible to feel empowered, able,
beautiful, and truly turned on—to themselves and their inherent
femininity. A woman connected to her passion and beauty is
unstoppable, ready to conquer the world with her power.
Imagine a world filled with such empowered women, living their
beauty and strength, driven by a desire to benefit others. This
vision could significantly uplift the life of at least half the
population.
It all begins with connecting to genuine beauty and power, a
connection I facilitate during my photo sessions. This mission
