Nina , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Knowing that everything you want is right at your fingers, it makes you want to learn and figure out more ways to reach the top. Then, one day the ball is in your court! Helping those seek beauty, and wellness by boosting a person’s confidence, and making better choice in their daily life. It’s a genuine feeling, so what better way to express it then through a my platform!

Nina , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Helloo everyone, I am Nina! I am a 20 year old entrepreneur from Baltimore, Maryland. To be specific, I am a wig & loc stylist, beauty consultant, and Digital creator. I’ve been adding to my list of a busy life since 2020! Trying out new skills like wigs on myself turned into a small business, thanks to friends and the support! Becoming a beauty consultant is still so new to me but, one of my favorite jobs! I work with amazing products and people. It also allows me to be the digital creator I am today, along with my other skills! I get to help women step into their inner IT girl whether that’s through wigs and locs. Or, hair, skin, and wellness. Don’t forget about the guys! We also have empowering talks over here purrr! It’s a win, win!

I think what sets me apart from the others would definitely have to be my personality. It’s unique in its own way #leo.

I am more than proud of myself, my mind has grown so much because,
I finally allowed it to, so I could get this far! I want everyone to know that your biggest commitment must always be to yourself! Holding yourself accountable is critical, and always be yourself! I really try to get these types of messages out there to my audience, especially for the young adults.

With all that being said I provide wig, and loc services! I also work with a vegan-based luxury product with a collection ranging from hair, skin, and wellness! We also help those seeking new ways to be their own boss through social media! (All information can be found on my website, bookings, consultations, opportunity call etc…)

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

A lesson I had to learn that took quite some time to learn was thinking that everything would get done on its own. Action is very important in any decision you decide to make. Without it, their is no goals towards what you want. I feel like for me just throughout getting older, from the moment I got my first job (16) till now you really realize how different things get, because everything no longer keeps getting down for you. Now, we have to do a lot on own. It’s really makes you think.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

When I started my business things went so unexpectedly well. Which is a blessing but, sometimes there can be bumps in the roads. Mine was when business started to slow down which, we all may know what this is like. I am a college student who at the time, was only working part-time. My work shifts were being cut in half, and business was slow. Did I mention, I was also trying to graduate college. I had two months left! Felt like I was drowning a little bit, bills came, and went. I lost some motivation, didn’t want to post or didn’t how I was goin to keep my page alive. I kept going though, kept trying to make different videos, when I had the time. I knew business was gonna start rolling again. After 5 months, things changed slowly but, surely! Found new opportunities, kept posting, got new clients, practice, and much more.
