We recently connected with Nima Sherpa and have shared our conversation below.
Nima, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Are you able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen?
I have been tattooing for more than 6 years professionally and I make my full time living by tattooing. Back when I first started it was very hard to make my living but seens I did more and got better at what I was doing it definitely started getting better and started making my living better. It definitely take years of experience and hard work to be able to do what I’m doing right now and making full time living out. I think having a mentor who can guide you thru out the way will definitely be easier.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Nyima and I have been tattooing professionally for more than 6 years. I got on to this industry after my high school . Back in Nepal. I always loved seeing tattoos on human skin. I with couple of my friends got some tattoo and we started tattooing each other and until today. I have always been tattooing and always had lots of fun doing what I do. This days I have been doing a lot of geomatric style tattoo. To all my follower and clients who has always shown lot of love and support I would like to thank all of you and look forward to be better than what I am today.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to be able to travel around the world and tattoo. And also be able to meet up with lots of amazing artist around the world.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect for me being a artist is to be able to create someone’s imagination and bring it to life. Also having lot of fun and getting compliments
