We recently connected with Nikkita Davis and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Nikkita thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
The idea for my business was born during a time of great personal transformation. It was the height of the pandemic, and like many, I found myself facing uncertainty. But there was also something new and beautiful in my life—my daughter. Her birth was a catalyst for me to reflect on what truly mattered, and more importantly, how I wanted to shape my future for both of us. I had always harbored entrepreneurial ambitions, but it wasn’t until I was in the midst of a global crisis and a personal transition that I realized it was time to take the leap.
At the time, I noticed a gap in the market for holistic weight loss solutions and wellness products that genuinely catered to women’s needs. There were plenty of brands pushing quick fixes, but few were addressing long-term health and self-care in a meaningful way. I wanted to build a brand that wasn’t just about losing pounds but about gaining confidence, embracing wellness, and creating sustainable habits. I wanted to empower others, especially women, to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
I knew this was a worthwhile endeavor because I had lived the experience myself. As a new mom, balancing my health, family, and well-being was a challenge, and I knew there were others who felt the same. This personal connection drove me. It wasn’t just about solving a problem; it was about offering a genuine solution—something that truly made a difference.
What excited me the most was the possibility of creating a community, a space where women could support each other on their wellness journeys. It wasn’t just a business idea; it was a mission to inspire change. The more I thought about it, the more it became clear that this was my calling. I knew the logic was sound because I wasn’t selling a product—I was offering a lifestyle transformation. That’s what set my business apart from others, and that’s why I believed it would succeed.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Nikkita Davis, also known as Neko. Originally from up north, I now call Georgia home. I’m a proud mother of three handsome sons—Jae (30), Mie (24), and Ty (21)—and one beautiful daughter, Zuri (12). My kids are my best friends, and our bond is incredible. They inspire me every day, especially my daughter, who’s not just my little girl but also my “daughterger,” always helping me stay on track. I’ve had the privilege of being a #1 radio personality for 92.3, but my most significant accomplishment is being a #1 seller on Walmart, with QVC/HSN and Target pending. Plus, I have an upcoming book on the way—stay tuned!
My journey into entrepreneurship was inspired by a desire to create a lasting brand that would not only reflect my values but also make a real difference in people’s lives. Prior to starting my business, I spent a lot of time observing gaps in the wellness market, particularly in the areas of weight loss and sexual wellness. I realized there was a lack of holistic solutions—brands that weren’t just offering quick fixes but focused on sustainable, long-term well-being. That’s when I knew there was an opportunity to create something different, something impactful.
My business offers a range of products that cater to both weight loss and sexual wellness. These two areas are deeply connected to overall confidence, health, and happiness. The products I provide are designed not just to solve immediate concerns but to help people make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether it’s helping someone achieve their health goals or empowering them to feel more comfortable in their own skin, my brand is all about creating real, lasting transformations.
What sets my business apart is the personalized approach we take. We’re not just selling products—we’re building relationships with our clients and creating a supportive community where they feel heard, supported, and inspired. This holistic approach, combined with the quality of our products, ensures that people don’t just see results; they feel empowered along the way.
I’m most proud of the community we’ve built. Seeing the positive changes in our clients’ lives—whether it’s improved health, increased confidence, or a new sense of empowerment—has been incredibly rewarding. That’s what motivates me to keep going.
For those who are just getting to know my brand, I want them to understand that we’re here to provide real solutions. We’re not about short-term fixes or trends. My goal is to offer something that will truly make a difference in people’s lives, helping them feel empowered, confident, and in control of their wellness journey. That’s the core of what I do, and it’s the driving force behind my brand.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Certainly! One story that stands out to me, and really illustrates my resilience, happened early on in my entrepreneurial journey. When I first launched my business, I was filled with excitement and confidence, but things didn’t go exactly as planned. I had invested a lot into the initial launch, but the results were underwhelming. Sales were slow, and I quickly realized that building a business wasn’t going to be as easy as I thought. It felt like I hit a wall.
I remember feeling discouraged, questioning whether I was on the right path. But rather than give up, I took a step back to assess the situation. I realized that setbacks are a natural part of any business journey and that resilience is what would separate success from failure. I adjusted my strategy, focused on building stronger relationships with my customers, and shifted my approach to really listen to what they needed.
Instead of viewing the slow start as a failure, I saw it as an opportunity to improve. That moment taught me the power of perseverance and adaptability. Over time, I built stronger connections with my clients and developed products that truly catered to their needs. It was a tough lesson, but one that showed me how crucial resilience is in business—and in life.
Now, looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. That experience was a turning point, and it’s a reminder that setbacks don’t define you; it’s how you respond to them that does.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was the belief that success should happen quickly. Early on in my entrepreneurial journey, I thought that if I had a solid idea, worked hard, and invested enough, everything would fall into place almost immediately. I believed that hitting big milestones quickly was a sign of success, and if it didn’t happen, then maybe I wasn’t cut out for it.
The backstory is that when I first launched my business, I put a lot of pressure on myself to achieve immediate success. I had high expectations, and when things didn’t take off as fast as I had hoped, I felt frustrated and even started questioning my path. I thought that if I wasn’t seeing instant results, it meant I was doing something wrong or that my business wouldn’t work out.
But over time, I had to unlearn that mindset. I realized that success isn’t about rapid growth; it’s about steady, meaningful progress. Building a business is a marathon, not a sprint. I had to embrace the idea that slow and steady wins the race, and that real, lasting success comes from patience, persistence, and continually learning and adapting.
Unlearning this belief allowed me to approach my business with more clarity and less stress. I became more focused on the long-term vision, making intentional decisions, and celebrating small wins along the way. Letting go of the need for immediate results has been incredibly freeing, and it has helped me stay committed to my goals for the long haul.
To all the young girls and women out there:
Remember, the journey to your dreams might not always be easy, but it’s in the challenges that you find your true strength. Every setback is a setup for a comeback, and every “no” gets you closer to your “yes.” Never let anyone dim your light or tell you that you’re not enough. You are powerful, capable, and worthy of every success you dream of. Keep pushing forward, keep believing in yourself, and never, ever give up. Your story is still being written, and the best chapters are yet to come.
