Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nikki Pazdra. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Nikki, thanks for joining us today. Let’s talk about keeping costs under control when growing. How have you managed to keep costs from getting out of control?
Dog training can be an incredibly expensive service. I knowingly set our prices below average, not because our training programs are any less effective, but because I wanted the average dog owner to be able to afford it. It shouldn’t take someone’s entire savings to have a well trained pet. I started this company because I was tired of seeing dogs being returned to shelters for jumping, food aggression, or leash reactivity. I was tired of seeing dogs put down because they were never socialized, and suffered incredible breaches in trust. i wanted to provide training for all the dog owners who wanted to keep their pet safe, happy, and confident but didn’t have a massive bank account.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
Before I began my company, I worked in about every dog industry you could. Vet assistant, Grooming, Kennel Technician, all the while training dogs on the side. When I realized training was what really sparked my passion, I dove in head first. I began working for the most elite dog training companies I could around me. When I came back to Nashville years later, I opened my company The K9 Co. Our company mission is to provide top-tier dog training for the average income. We specialize in obedience training, and dog behavioral training. Aggression is a category that not many trainers touch, but we will NEVER turn down a client, and never walk away from a dog. I believe that is what sets us apart the most. We truly believe that there are no dogs that can’t be redeemed.
