We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Nikki Hai. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Nikki below.
Nikki, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The world needs more kind and compassionate people. I get to wake up everyday doing what I love. I get to build genuine relationships within my community I truly care about. I get to be a leader that help and guide my family and friends with their life long investments. I want to be a role model to future generations by pouring my love and kindness into my community. It is meaningful to me because it is my responsibility to do what’s right, even if the world seems to be crashing right before our eyes.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I was a young single mother for many years and my mother was aging rapidly and needed my help more often than ever. I left my 9-5 to become a real estate agent so that I am able to care for my Mother. Coming from a traditional Cambodian household, we do not believe in putting our aging parents in a nursing home.
I also wanted to have more quality time and be more involved with my son and daughter’s lives. Real Estate has allowed me to do that. I work with commercial and residential real estate.
To keep my creative juices flowing I enjoy styling my clients for their lifestyle and upcoming travels and events. Fashion styling is another passion because attitude and energy is everything! When I look and feel good it will shine across the room. You will notice me lol!
I am proud of the leap I took, into the unknown of a new venture and knocking my fears back to sleep. I am proud that I stayed true to myself and who I am even with the negative noise that try to change who I am.
What sets me apart is most things come hard for many people but I make it look easy. It is hard, I just don’t complain. I make it happen. My life experiences at a young age most definitely prepared me for this entrepreneurial path. My clientele is broad and long drives and distances will not stop me.
What I want potential followers and clients to know about my business and work is that I am a woman with integrity and I am not a robot. I truly listen and genuinely care about the people I get to work with. I can have fun and also stay professional.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I had to unlearn was going to college and get a degree and work and retire after 60. I think many people are waking up to this especially the younger generation. In order to become wealthy is to have a business and you not working for someone else. With the exception to some profession, getting a degree is not a must.
The backstory: I worked many years in luxury retail industry and I thought I was doing well but I started seeing clients making purchases surpassing my salary. I wanted to be like that and started learning about what they do.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
My parents gave me a wonderful childhood. I have great memories.
When I left home after high school many years ago, I struggled for many years and hid it from my parents. I lost my car and had to learn to take public transportation. It was long and dreadful hours just to get anything done. It taught me a lot of patience. My electricity and power turned off. I learned not to take essentials for granted. I also learned to be very grateful for what I have.
I started to not make excuses and became more focused with what I wanted in life and worked hard toward my goals. I smile everyday even if bad days try to bring me down.
This is why I work so hard for my business and my clients. Get it done. Get it done well. No excuses.
