Nikki, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
The biggest risk that I’ve have ever taken was on myself. And when I say myself, I mean my business, Gemini Goddess Body Contouring and Spa. I was so afraid to fly like a Bird and let my wings be free. I was so afraid that people would judge me, Because I was a Plussize diva, and that they wouldn’t believe in the products and services due to my weight. But after much encouragement, I found my way and now I am the successful owner of Gemini Goddess Body Contouring and spa, and I owe it all to you.
Nikki, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am Nikki C, and let me tell you a little about me for the past 10 years I have struggled with weight gain weight loss and body shaming myself until one day I stumbled across a body contouring business in another state so I flew to that state and I have the body contouring service. I immediately fell in love with my results that I decided to take the course after many dollars in much education, I learned the craft, and I learned how to put the same smile on everyone’s faces no matter race, sexual orientation, weight, height gender.
My most successful service would have to be Cavitation. Which is basically the process whereby pressure variations in a liquid can in a short period of time cause countless small cavities to form and implode. After which you will dispose of the fat through urinating and sweating
Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
If I had a second chance to do it all over again, would I ? Hmmmm
And have the chance to make people smile to bring that confidence, Presse Verrence, and make more philanthropist in the community yes I would I’m gonna say it again HECK YEAH ! And the only one thing that I would change is having multiple locations so I can reach multiple people in different areas.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing clientele would have to be word of mouth once you come in, I give you a great service, nice ambience, candles, lit, music, playing body, relaxed, you’re gonna want to tell your friends and when you do you were actually doing a great thing because not only will you receive a discount on your next visit but you’re also building confidence in your partner or your mate or your buddy friend or whomever so one by one we grow as a whole next thing you know we’re all walking around looking good feeling great and just being awesome
