We recently connected with Nikki and Tyler Enslow and have shared our conversation below.
Nikki and Tyler, appreciate you joining us today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
We learned from listening, studying, and copying our favorite musicians.
I don’t think i would have done anything differently to speed up the progress. learning more about music is the best part. It would have been rad to be a child prodigy tho.
Listening. knowing when to not play. rhythm.
the biggest obstacle is the amount of time in a day, and that I want to spend most of that time asleep.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Cosmic Collective is a transmuting ensemble of musicians. The group’s effervescent chemistry evolves from performance to performance contingent upon the accompanying star sidemen, making each show a truly unforgettable, unique, and personal experience. No song sounds the same twice. Each performance is in the moment.
We started 8 years ago in Nashville TN, and recently relocated to Charlotte NC.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The mission of our journey is to get our music heard all over the world. With creating our original music it comes with passion, vulnerability, and meaning. Every note or word has a feeling it’s trying to emote. It could be sadness, happiness, fear, strength, confidence and insecurity. To us it could be one thing but to a listener, it can mean something entirely different. The goal here is to give the listener an experience whether it’s inspiration or something to relate to. For us, that drives us to keep making music everyday and putting it all out there for anyone to hear or watch.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Back in 2019, our band had about 900 followers on Instagram and 30 Spotify listeners(including our moms). Then the pandemic happened and we had to change our perspective and create an entirely new foundation that was based around the Internet. Our touring gigs had been taken away from us and we were forced to create music at home. This turned out the be a great thing because deep down we needed to have a stronger internet presence. That’s when we started posting weekly videos and creating a brand. We were sure to make our brand as personal and raw as possible keeping it organic and sharing the real us. People caught on and started listening. One of our popular posts did really well and we marketed the heck out of it which helped built our fan base. Spotify ended up taking liking to our music too and everything just fell into place. Our advice to creatives is to be consistent and be yourself. When you find something that works, use it!
