Nike, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We love heartwarming stories – do you have a heartwarming story from your career to share?

I love seeing the relief, happiness and ultimately the results of my clients. When you start from the first day of our session and you look and compare the results, the gratitude that comes with seeing the results warms my heart and reassures me that i am doing this for the happiness of others which is why i am here. To serve and bring wellness to those around me. This is a great feeling and makes me feel purposeful.

Hello beautiful readers, My name is Nike.O, Owner and creator of BodiedRN Post operative Care and Esthetics were the goal is to optimize your results post cosmetic surgery. We focus on helping take care of those who choose to have cosmetic surgeries such as Brazilian Butt Lifts, Breast Augmentations, Rhinoplasty, Tummy Tucks, Face lifts and other types of surgeries. We assist with the pre and post operative phase of your journey to maintain their results. From getting the necessary manual drainage massages, lymphatic massage, body wraps, laser liposuction, cavitation treatments and so much more. We are also adding post partum care for moms in order to get their body back to the necessary shape before pregnancy. If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?

YES! Nursing is field that is so broad. However i chose the nursing path that focused on plastic surgery recovery, body enhancement, healing, and body positivity. This is something that our community converse about because of the risk associated with having plastic surgery but the reality is that if this is something that you choose and do decide to do, you want to make sure you are in the hands of medical professional with real life experience on how to observe for complications that can help save your life. This is where BodiedRN comes in to make sure that the healing phase is safe and that the client is recovering safely in the privacy and comfort of your own home. Yes, we come into your home to provide the service so you aren’t physically coming into the facility to get seen. We understand the pain and hardship that comes with healing and we prioritize making the recovery phase as easy, stress free and as peaceful as possible.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?

Other than having a Masters in Nursing and having multiple trainings and certificate in post operative care the most helpful thing in order to succeed in this field is networking and learning from colleagues and other post op professionals. You have to make meaningful relationships with those in the same field, doing the same things as you and learn from them. Everyone around me has contributed to my success from teaching me certain techniques, to keeping me informed on the new trends to observe for or just to involve you with surgeons and introduce you to greatness within the industry is very necessary and important to be successful in this field.
