We were lucky to catch up with Nida Jawed recently and have shared our conversation below.
Nida, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you have a hero? What have you learned from them?
I have highly idealized high-quality women since I was a child. When I was a teenager, I imagined becoming a high-quality woman, an executive, working in a glass office where girls in the same age group were focused on boys and makeup. The list of these women includes Oprah Winfrey and Lady Diana at the top. I have read their biographies, and their stories have helped me visualize my future.
Since life had other plans, I became a homemaker with a beautiful family before I became a businesswoman, and this is probably the best that could’ve happened to me. I believe all high-quality women, in particular Lady Diana, Queen of hearts, was family woman who just loved to serve others.
Following Lady Diana’s life and journey revealed to me a dedicated protector of a mother, and then the one who was in front of the public, in service to her country, being authentically herself; she did not come across as a people pleaser but rather the one who did what she truly believed in.
This ideology of being my authentic self no matter what challenge or ease I face has been the core of where I am today. I have been an original; I am the same person in private and public. I practice what I preach, and all of it comes because I have mastered the art of nurturing by being a family woman first.
Life is a test and journey, but confidence comes in you when you are unapologetically yourself and not a people pleaser. The high-quality women I have studied all have been unapologetically themselves. I want to be the hero for the coming youth as well.
Nida, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I heard someone wise say this once, “To go anywhere in life, you need to get kicked ahead.”
This was the most practical advice I ever received. Moving forward came with many challenges, and who creates challenges for anyone, negative people. I noticed that person gets the most hate for choosing themselves over others; this looks like taking time and attention away from people and giving it to yourself. When I started pursuing my dreams, I had a lot of backlash from those who felt threatened, who thought I was going to take their clients, and friends who got insecure and I lost them; I recognized what envy and jealousy look like, and it is found mainly in people who have access to you, are close to you.
My advice to everyone is when you focus on yourself and learn that your environment is not fit for your growth, you have to grow a backbone first and be resilient; push, tug, reroute, readjust, fix, recreate, let go, do what you have to do to clear your path. I had to discard and disconnect with a lot of people who had started hitting me with negativity, giving me reasons why I wouldn’t be successful, and not just that, often negativity from others came as personal attacks which have nothing to do with your growth.
The rejections I faced and the number of people ready to see me fail were disheartening, every kick landed me where I wasn’t expecting to be, and those places were a pleasant surprise.
In the middle of all the chaos, I came across some wonderful people, who reinforced my trust in me, showed unconditional support, became witnesses to my journey, and got inspired. Wonderful radiant people and places became part of my story.
The moral of the story, the first person who needs to believe in you is you; when you are confident in your craft and your being, no one else really matters; learn, face the negativity, and get kicked forward! That is how you get ahead.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of growing my clientele has been word of mouth. When you are good at what you do and build loyalty with your clients, they speak of their growth and recommend your services to others. I do not spend much on marketing compared to other businesses; human connection and empathetic relationships with my clients have been a genuine key to my growing business and success.
