We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Nicole Strychaz. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Nicole below.
Nicole, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
I love to work with Conscious Entrepreneurs because they often get stuck in “analysis paralysis” when it comes to trying to grow their businesses.
I write Content and Copy for them in such a way that it is meant to connect to their soulmate audience and create loyalty and engagement instead of just numbers.
The Internet is full of messaging right now about how you can grow your business to six figures in just weeks and in my experience that is simply not true. If you do not have a clear vision for your business and a crystal-clear understanding of what you do, you need to stop and create a solid foundation BEFORE you try to scale for those larger numbers.
I am so focused on Conscious Entrepreneurs because they often have a calling. They are on a mission to fulfill their life purpose and that isn’t always clear as to what it is!
Which means having crystal clear clarity on social media or on a website may take time to develop.
They often don’t know why they are meant to be doing what they are doing, just that they have a strong intuition to follow it.
I help them tune into their calling and create email automation and content to support their energy and connect them to their clients while they do their spiritual work to grow into their purpose.
I feel like it’s meant to be a beautiful journey rather than a get-rich-quick philosophy that people who are selling their marketing programs, which are very much dependent on you already knowing what you do and how to convert your followers to buyers, tell you to do.
I believe conscious, or awakened, businesses are the way forward if we’re going to create change and I’m here for it!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
If you would’ve told me 10 years ago that this was my path, I wouldn’t have believed you!
Over 10 years ago, I had a spiritual awakening. I was working in Corporate America when I started to feel my soul was literally dying! It started out as a longing… wanting to be outside more. Then it became a faint whisper “this is not supposed to be your life”.
It didn’t make sense. I was doing well at my job and my husband and I were traveling the world in as many quick vacations as we could cram into our limited time off.
But the feeling grew… and grew… until it became so strong that I felt if I continued on that path I would get sick. Like really sick in some sort of universal effort to wake me up and shake me out of this life that was nowhere near what I had set out to do.
I had been an English major in college and always intended to go back to writing. And yet, 10 years had passed working in an office and I had long since stopped writing stories and even *gasp* journaling.
While I gained incredible experience about how to navigate the business world, I knew it was not my soul’s calling. It felt soul-draining in fact and I decided it was high time to figure out what my calling was.
I had a longing to figure it out and fulfill my life purpose that would propel me forward for an entire decade following the moment I left my high-paying career without a safety net, my shiny new MBA, and 20 years of student loan debt in my future.
All roads led to writing…
I KNEW something special happened when I wrote. But when I sat down to write fiction, metaphysical writing came out instead. “You must tell them this”, I would hear. “They need to know about that…” the voice would say.
I didn’t know who was talking and WHO needed to hear it!
The words would repeat and repeat in my head until I wrote them down. For days, sometimes weeks, until I typed them out.
So I just started blogging. Committing to an innocent “mommy blog” opened up my channels to spirit in unexpected (and sometimes scary-at-first) ways!
Over time I discovered that I am a lightworker, a psychic medium, a sacred scribe, a professional writer, an energy healer, and an alchemist.
I believe that voice telling me “You have to tell them (insert whatever content for the week)…” is connected to beings of the light, committed to raising our collective consciousness.
It took devotion to become a “clear channel”.
I learned that if I wanted to get my message out into the world I needed to be an entrepreneur. People weren’t able to just find me as I had hoped.
I began to take courses in copywriting and learn to blog professionally instead of as a hobby.
As the pieces came together for me, I understood that I could help other people who were having callings and trying to create a business so they could fulfill these soul desires too.
I now use my intuitive skills for writing for myself and others and to inspire more conscious professionals with The Awakened Professional podcast that I’ve newly released.
I’m on a mission to help others soul align and shine so their audience and clients can find them.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I wish I would’ve known earlier to trust my intuition more. I would follow it, but then second guess it if I didn’t see results right away.
Now, if I feel clearly guided to do something but I haven’t seen a result from it I will just think “Well, I know I was guided to do that even if I don’t understand why”.
Inevitably, at some point in the future, I will have something happen where I realize why that thing I did mattered!
Trusting the creative muse and just letting it come through fully would’ve served me better.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
As I shared earlier, quitting my lucrative corporate career was a BIG deal! I had been extremely driven in the field of Human Resources and to walk away from it was scary and didn’t make financial sense at the time.
But I knew in my heart that it was necessary and felt strongly that I was missing the point of why I was on the planet at this time if I had stayed.
