Nicole, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea

When I created my first Creation (bracelet) in August 2020 it was strictly for me. I had no plans on starting a business but God saw different. I realized that I really found joy and contentment when creating. Shortly after creating bracelets for myself and gifting a few to family members is when I decided this would be an awesome opportunity to share with others what I truly enjoy!

After much prayer and encouragement from my Fiance’ I decided to look into what I needed in order to have a successful business launch and website. I researched articles and watched youtube videos on other brands. After getting everything in order I was ready and launched my website and business Creations by Seay (pronounced C) in November of 2020. This was the most exciting and terrifying thing to do but I have no regrets.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

First, my name is Nicole and I’m the owner/designer of Creations by Seay (pronounced C). Let me start by telling you I never desired to have a business but God had different plans. I took a leap of Faith and launched my business in November of 2020.

Hands down, I truly love creating beaded jewelry specifically bracelets of which I call Creations. My love for wearing bracelets came from when my Granny Esther Gifted me a beautiful bracelet in my early 20’s of which I still have.

Another love of mine is uplifting and encouraging people and so I decided to be daring and different and merge the two for my business.

I believe that all of us need motivating or encouraging words that can help us through our day, week, month, or year and so I decided the best way for someone to get that is by pairing a quote with a Creation. When browsing my online store you will notice that every Creation(bracelet) has an uplifting quote. The quotes are my way of letting people know that they are being thought of. They’re to give you hope, courage and confidence and put you in a space of positive thinking.

My prayer is that when someone wears a Creation(s) they will think of the quote and let it resonate with them. Allowing it to inspire them in some way!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I would have to say what is helping to build my reputation within my market is having outstanding customer service, shining personality and quality products.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I have learned that no matter if your business is having a good or bad week or month you should remain content, stay focused on your long term goal and know that God will see you through. Nothing comes quick. I believe it is definitely a marathon and not a sprint when it comes to achieving greatness in all that you do.
