We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nicole Roberts a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Nicole thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
As a proud mother to three daughters it became a priority of mine to provide them the best nourishment as possible. Over the years, we have developed a recipe book, that includes meals, beauty rituals, and cleaning products with my love for natural ingredients.
Through balancing work, family life and self care I learned the true meaning of what we put in and on our bodies and how this relates to our overall health and well-being.
During an extremely painful event in my life, I turned inward to heal myself. This is how I became inspired to learn and practice Reiki. I felt guided to hold space for my clients, and offering this during services has been truly rewarding.
Nicole, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
The services I offer coincide with my mission to respect and nurture all bodies mind and spirits. I am motivated by Ayurveda Medicine, Native American healing practices, pioneer medicine, patience, wisdom and love.
I believe that beauty is a light in the heart. I have designed services that blend skin care, healing, relaxation, and balancing the mind, body and soul.
Touch is sacred.. Thank you for your trust in my hands, and the honor to serve you and your loved ones.
How’d you meet your business partner?
I met my business partner, Amanda while we were working at another job. We had so many passions and interests in common, and developed a genuine friendship. We kept in touch, and some time later, an opportunity came up for me to work with her. This was truly a blessing, it’s been inspiring and deeply fulfilling to grow at Natural Esthetics.
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
The ability to emphasize, hold space, and truly listen to what is said, and also what is unsaid.
