We were lucky to catch up with Nicole Milstein recently and have shared our conversation below.
Nicole, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear the backstory of how you established your own practice.
My daughter, Paige Milstein, and I have been passionate about fitness for over a decade, working in various studios and immersing ourselves in the industry. In late 2023, the opportunity arose to bring our own vision to life by opening a boutique cycling studio in Denver’s vibrant Platt Park neighborhood, right on historic South Pearl Street.
This dream became a reality thanks to my incredible business partner, Jody Fidler. Jody, who already owned a store on the block, saw the potential to bring a fitness-focused space to the area. With her support, we joined forces, and as they say, the rest is history.
Fast forward to today, and we’re celebrating two amazing years as Ride Revolution. Our studio isn’t just about workouts—it’s about community. We’ve built a space where people feel like family, where fun and strength go hand in hand, and where every ride leaves you feeling empowered.
We’re also incredibly proud to be a woman-owned small business in Denver, and it’s an honor to have Voyage Denver shine a spotlight on what we’re building. Our studio may be small, but our dreams and dedication to this community are boundless.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We’re incredibly fortunate to call South Pearl Street home. It’s an amazing neighborhood filled with restaurants, shops, bookstores, and a focus on health and well-being, which perfectly complements what we do at Ride Revolution.
At our boutique studio, we specialize in creating a space where people feel comfortable, safe, and truly welcomed. We’re not just a place to work out—we’re a place to connect, build friendships, and be part of a supportive community that we cherish deeply.
Our classes focus on indoor cycling, offering options that range from quick, high-energy 30-minute sessions to more immersive 60-minute rides. We also mix things up with classes that combine time on the bike with off-bike strength training, giving clients a full-body workout that tones muscles while getting their cardio in.
What sets us apart is our dedication to creating an experience, not just a workout. We’re most proud of the community we’ve built—one that feels more like a family. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or stepping into a cycling studio for the first time, you’ll find encouragement, fun, and a sense of belonging here.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Every journey has its ups and downs, but I feel incredibly fortunate to say that ours has been relatively smooth—and that’s largely thanks to the amazing community we’ve built. Seeing the positive impact we’ve had on people’s lives has made every step of this journey so worthwhile.
If there’s one challenge that stands out, it’s navigating the learning curve of owning a small business. From operations to marketing and everything in between, there’s so much to learn when you’re wearing multiple hats. But those challenges have also been some of the most rewarding experiences. Each obstacle has taught us something valuable, and we’ve grown stronger and more confident as a result.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
I believe that trusting yourself and your vision is one of the most important factors for success. It’s about having the confidence to know what you want to accomplish and staying focused on that goal. For me, it was building a fitness community where people not only felt safe and comfortable working out but also felt a genuine sense of belonging—like they were part of a family.
Creating that kind of environment requires more than knowledge or training. It takes passion, perseverance, and a deep belief in the positive impact you can make. When you lead with heart and authenticity, everything else starts to fall into place.

All of the photos provided were taken on my personal phone, as we didn’t work with a professional photographer. They represent the authentic and personal touch of our studio, which is something we’re really proud of.
