Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nicole Majik. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Nicole , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How has Covid changed your business model?
Covid hit at a time when I was transitioning 100% out of corporate world into the entrepreneur space even though I was running my business for 12 years prior. I had 34 physical appearances/speaking gigs booked to be able to take that leap as my business had been rapidly growing for the 3 years prior. It was time to take the leap in faith of myself and my mission to impact and empower tens of thousands of women’s lives in 2020. I made that transition on Feb. 7th 2020 and by the end of the month all of the remainder of the year’s events were canceled with no reschedule dates on the radar. I ended up analyzing and meditating on the situation and decided I needed to pivot my business to mainly online and the change was necessary to happen asap. So I took a couple weeks to really deep dive and strategize the business model, looking at all my previous offers – speaking, workshops, intuitive readings, AuraGraphs – and I started to offer them via zoom. I began to put together a client community online and started building that. Speaking events started to come to me and now I am a sought after guest on many podcasts and with some really amazing hosts like Brian Scott, Jeff Mara, Kim from Intuitiview, as well as many others. The direction of my business is driven by speaking events/podcasts where participants and listeners connect with one of the major stories of my life whether is has to do with conscious leadership, overcoming and irradicating depression, near death experiences or fighting for my life agains mercury poisoning. The process was very much an inner journey uncovering what I desired to create in my life and how to do that as easily and most enjoyably possible. I love my life and my business and have enough time for everything I want to do and people I want to spend time with. I now assist others though my coaching business how to define their desires, align with what is truly important to them and then manifest all of the things they want in the most easiest way possible. I do this with my system, The Alchemy of Transformation® that shifts people right out of their fears, instills confidence and makes the blueprint to success very clear and concise so they never lose their way.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I originally got into my business working within the metaphysical space doing aura readings, energy healing and working with crystal carvers all over the world. I have seen energy and auras all my life and I wanted to show people what I saw and help them heal from things they couldn’t even see within themselves. I had some pretty miraculous healing feedback throughout all the time I have performed energy healing, so I continue to do so. My business evolved when I started to teach workshops and guided meditations on various subjects such as mindset, intuition, and leadership. I helped those ready for more tap into their true power and awaken their true potential. Everything I do has an empowerment experiential factor to it and I always provide techniques that start shifting participants immediately. I have overcome a variety of adversities along the way, so I am able to connect with so many different types of people. I also have what is called a “golden brain” where I am equally right and left brained, so I am able to see things from various perspectives. Many of my clients comment on my ability to hold space for those in my presence (physically or online); provide a safe, loving space to be vulneralbe and grow; and to be present and supportive without judgement. I help those ready to conquer their fears see the blindspots that have been holding them back so we can erase the beliefs that create the behaviors that have kept them living in fear to move forward.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
I managed a team of direct reports in chemistry and still had to manage my boss and the other project team bosses. In addition I was overseeing 5 different international campaigns during a time of rapid growth in the company. When I came into Analytical Development as a chemist, there were 15 chemists in the department. When I left the company, there were more than 70 chemists in that department. My team was a hub for 8 different departments that were growing at the same rate. Systems needed to be put in place for a rapid growth like that. I foresaw it for my group and took action. Awareness is the first step. Having an awareness for the shifts in focus, time, and energy required to meet timelines during a company’s growth phase can be a trickly thing. Open honest communication with your team/employees is going to be a key element to your success. Secondly, understanging both what is happening in the company as well as what is happening in your team members’ lives is important. You want to ensure you are being sensitive to their needs both professionally and personally. Aligning their needs and their desires is going to make all the difference when it comes to true work life balance and happiness in the job. Creating an atmosphere of being seen, heard and trusted is imperative as well as creating action plans for the projected growth. No one wants to come back from a day off or a vacation with that dread of what work is piled high on the desk and how many extra hours you will need to catch up. Having overlapping SME’s and a failsafe cross training program will keep your team from falling into the that trap. Lastly, coming from a genuine place of conscious leadership, compassion and strategy will keep you moving in the right direction. Foster fearless authenticity and open communication and participation and you’ll always be pointed in the direction of teramwork and success.
What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
My business oficially was formed on April 1, 2008. I was working with crystal carvers around the world and reselling them at expos along with performing Aura Readings since I haved always had the ability to see and sense energy and auras. I began to see patterns in the things that people needed…the tools to get through tough times, stress and overcome fears. In my readings I would intuitively give my client empowering techniques to overcome the things that I saw that were negatively affecting them. This quickly turned into the request for me to put together trainings, lectures and workshops which quickly sold out. By 2009 I was being asked to give talks at conferences that over time ended up growing to audiences of several hundred and I gave hundreds of workshops and served thousdands of clients. The workshops turned into requests for private coaching which I began doing in 2010 and it grew from there. I niched down at a few points along the way and stopped selling crystals at shows and focused only on the coaching and workshops/lectures. My business had a huge growth spurt in 2017 when I began coaching groups and teams. 2018 I was booking regular speaking events outside of my local area and even went on an East Coast tour from Florida to New Hampshire stopping in a handful of states along the way, delivering my story, inspiration and motivation. 2020 marked the year I had 34 events booked for speaking and workshops before the pandemic really hit and all events were cancelled. My business quickly pivoted online and my clientele ended up reaching many more countries than I was already working with. I went from 4-5 countries that I had clients to 10 countries I had clients attending 1:1 coaching and trainings. I now am a highly sought after speaker, keynote, and trainer for teacher professional development days, corporate events, team meetings and full day leadership training for sales teams, science based businesses and various organizations.
